does anyone know how to change the navigation buttons on the phone. and when i hold down the pound key, the phone switches to vibrate but i would rather it switch to silence. can i change that?

this is for all of you who are looking to buy l7.
i bought one a month back and experinced these things about it:-
1) it has got better mp3 player as compared to
nokia phones.
2) looks are fantastic as compared to nokia phones, which are like pencil boxes(eg 6600).
3) well one things for sure that it cannot match up with nokia phones against there battery life and features. but who cares one can charge his phone after two days if not
three and as for the features who uses those
complex features anyway.

i just bought this phone few days ago.Batt very bad..only last for 1 day.maybe firmware got problem , auto-restart.hang when answer call.phone get hot very fast bcoz of metal case.those wan to buy , pls consider..I experienced it...

This is a cool phone. Especially the design. But the camera is crappy. Megapixsel is better. Overall its ok. Hope Motorola come out with new slvr with 3g capable,fm radio and a megapixsel camera.Lol!!!

First, nekaj, the silver or titanium color of the SLVR is already out on the L7's preceding phone, the SLVR L6.
Second, I would like to know if I could use a Cingular sim card in this phone without buying it from Cingular. I am very doubtful about this, as an unlocked SLVR L7 for $259 at ibuydigital.com is way better sounding than a locked Cingular SLVR for $349 at factory price. I would very much appreciate a response to this as I am looking into buying this phone pretty soon.... \

hi, a couple of questions...
1) how do you back up your current firmware?
2 If you cant anyone know where i can get hold of the R4513_G_08.B7.5DR_RB (vodafone one) firmware?
3) anyone know if it accepts the 1 gb transflash cards?
4)is the 100 songs limit only with i-tunes or is it restricted to all the firmwares?

the way i get mp3 ringtonez on my L7, i hav a few fones 1 of which is a SK65 that can connect to a computer and it has blutooth, so i get the mp3 ringtone loaded on the SK65 via USB and then blutooth the ringtone 2 the L7, sweet as pie. cya l8r

what problem do you have? you just transfer from bluetooth dongle on computer then you transfer and set as ringtone TADOW! done.

i have a question beforee buying it , the fast that there is no cover on it , does it dial automatically phones, or does it lock down automatically, or you have to lock it down all the time, it case it rubs again something in yourt pocket and start dialing !!
also does it have a sd memory card slot?

Is it just me, or does the SLVR advert (the on showing a futuristic landscape and a woman picking up the ohone from the air) show the phone in a SILVER model (rather than the black/copper one). If so, when is this Silver colored SLVR gonna be out? Thanks

Superb L7... with new idea and concerp such as multi uses of usb connector, direct removable disk drive id in win xp and cristal clear pics. But the video fps taken still not realtime (30fps). Hoping 3G L siries in next 6 month with minimum 25fps video capture.
