I juz bought this phone.Maybe its my first time using this phone that why I am disappointed with it.
The camera and video is disappointing. Video is v.bad compared to my previous E720C.Pics are of average quality.
The speaker is not bad, adjustable from a volume of 1 to 7.Acceptable quality.
WIth the internal memory,we can onli store at most one mp3 song in the phone as ringtone.Pretty sad that songs stored on the memory card cant be used as the ringtone for the phone.
Yes its stylish and slim.In the dark, the key backlight is nice. The screen is big sharp and fantastic.
The UI is not v.gd - maybe I am new to Motorola one that why BUT i have no problem adapting to Samsung UI when I switch to it. Hmmz.
Time will tell.A little regret I din choose K750i.

i read so much on this phone before i bought it and i really thought it was be a great buy, being that its a mp3 player and cell phone in one. unfortunately, it doesn't satisfy me. the iTunes is great and all but it has restrictions. you dont get to make your own playlist. also, the buttons are fairly small. i try and push one button and i end up pushing three.
although, it is a very sleek and attractive phone. i've worn it on my arm as i workout and it has turned some heads. i love how i can listen to music and answer my calls at the same time. but besides that, i believe that im going to have to sell this phone and get my money back.

A few questions:
1)Does this have the same 100 song limit as the ROKR E1, and if so, do the songs on the actual phone count (u know, not on the memory card)
2)How is the audio quality from the speakers?
And how is it from the headphones?
3)Is it responsive? (Does it lag while listening to music etc.)
4)Is the Camera acceptable for VGA?
10x in advance

how do you change the language on the L7. I got a real good deal on the new motorola L7, then realized that the reason it was such a great deal was because it was in german. wouldn't be bad if i was german, but i don't understand the language. Anyone know how to change it to english???? HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

NEED HELP!
(1) As mentioned by someone else, mine is also showing "Cingular" despite my T-Mobile service. I got it unlocked shipped from Asia and have tried the manual network search, but still gave me "Cingular", not a big deal but quite irritating.
(2) I made a copy from my SIM card to the phone book so now my phonebook contains duplicating entries both SIM and phone. Nokia or Sony Ericsson will have a quick choice for us to choose whether to use SIM or phone but not Motorola. Can anyone tell me a way to get over this?
(3) Any single push button to mute from normal? I used Motorola V690 before and the # button will give turn the phone to "mute" but this L7, the same # button turns my phone to "vibrate".
In short, this is a great looking phone since I don't care about camera or music but I like the black color and the thinness. However, what made me get away from my V690 is still haunting me with L7 is that Motorola's menu is really NOT user-friendly relative to Nokia or Sony Ericsson. Other phones that I've used recently is Nokia 6170 and Sony Ericsson T637 -- both have VERY user-friendly menu.
Please email me at hedonistix@yahoo.com if someone can help with the above questions.

I previously posted that the battery life on my SLVR was terrible. it has since improved. Currently is has been 3.75 days and i still have 2 bars of battery remaining. Granted, I have been pretty unpopular this week and havent made too many calls, but thats still pretty impressive.
As for the people having the phone display Cingular instead of Tmobile, where did you buy the phone? Also, try setting your Network Settings to manual and select Tmobile.

I just received the phone. It looks great but is not as loud as my Nokia. It's black and picks up fingerprints easily. Bigger question, after I put in my sim the screen reads Cingular when my service is T-Mobile. Does anyone know how to fix this? Could someone please help me?

Sensor for lights: SPV C500 that i had nearly 2 years ago had a light sensor, it conserves battery power by not having to light up the keyboard during the day!
Choice between between L7 and K750i?? K750i anyday (or even the W800i same stuff except W800 comes with stereo headsets and functions as a better mp3 player). Cuz then u get the 2 mega-pixel camera too! Sharing pictures and so on is a breeze. Motorola has extremely slow file transfer times using bluetooth compared to any other phone i have ever used (and i switch phones every 3 months for my secondary device - primary device is palmOne Treo 650 which i've had for 8 months now... try taking that off me!!!)
