100 songs. that is it until someone cracks it. it is hardcoded, iTunes forbids you from loading more than that on the SLVR

Looking to purchase the L7. Knowing that it holds 100 songs, is it possible to load additional songs to the memory card. If so, how many?

I am in love with this phone.
I got a Cingular branded L7 for 200$.
It came with everything, USB Cable, Ear buds, iTunes, 512MB sd card.
iTunes is great! On this phone it lets you minimize iTunes to the background as you use your phone in normal mode. (No Java +iTunes that I can see so far.)
anyway, definetely pick this phone up. You will not regret it, I will post back on battery life later.

i think cingular made a huge mistake making this phone as a itunes phone. really, the phones looks nice, but it has the same capacity, 100 songs... and not edge only gprs... seriouslly, C- for cingular

Batt life to me on normal usage is about 2 days. As for putting into the MicroSD card in the phone, just mount the phone with the supplied USB cable and drag the MP3 songs in. My only complaint on the L7 is the iTap, which is not as good a the T9.

BATTERY LIFE (L7 with BC60)
I noticed a bunch of people asking questions about battery life. Personally I have not experienced very good battery life. I used mine for one full day after a complete charge, and left it turned on over night. When I woke in the morning it was down to one bar of battery. Basically this means i should have charged it over night. With my older phone, i would charge it once every 2-3 days with the same amount of use. Im hoping the battery life improves after a few uses.

Lol, and actually, I just noticed I didn't realise you said you don't like the idea of deleting off the sim, so my help isn't really helpful! (It's early in the morning here for me, sorry).
But hopefully it may be useful to someone...you never know. But why have them on the SIM anyways if you can sync via PC?
Best wishes!

JF,
There must be a reason why yours isn't letting you snooze the alarm clock. I use mine everyday as an alarm clock and when the alarm comes up, one softkey says snooze and one says disable...so, you should be able to get a snooze feature. What branding is it, as maybe this is the difference (mine is unbranded).
And, as for the SIM card/phone phonebook entry problem, maybe this might be useful: if you go to your contact list and then press the middle top key you'll get the phonebook menu. Head to the bottom of that list and you'll see the option "copy." Select it and then select "entries." You will get a screen that gives "entries" (where you can select exactly which contact you want to work with and then "to" (where you can select whether you would like to add a copy to the phone or to the SIM card. Then it's just a matter of going back and deleting the original entry after you make the copy :) Again, this may or may not work depending on how the company you're using has decided to brand the phone...but I figured might as well share just in case! :)

I just got a L7, and damn it is sexy, But... There is always a "BUT"... When I send text messages it deletes the person i send it to from my phone book... sort of, the number is still there when i sync it with my computer, but does not appear in the phonebook on the phone. (If I try re adding the person/number it simply says duplicate entry and neither shows up.)
my software version is:R4513_G_08.B7.DBR_RB
Any one else have similar problems...
