Thx dshakey for providing the site link. Is an amazing site to load in new skins or some sat themes. I have loaded the some of the skins into this phone and it looks great.
Thx again for the site.

when you insert the memory card, the default storage space will be defaulted to the memory card...
please check that you have set Memory card as default ?

fastest way to switch profile is to set shortcuts.
Go to the ringstyle, and press and hold menu key to set the Vibrate to shortcut..and voila!

Hi, I don't know if anyone else is experiencing this problem but I just cant seem to put any files apart from pictures onto my L7 via bluetooth. As well as this I have a transflash 256mb inside the phone but it doesnt seem to work as I cannot store anything onto it and when i try to take a picture of record onto the memory card it says there isnt enough space although when i go to the card details it even says it has about 241000kb.

hi, just got my motorola L7 on O2 and am wondering if there is a quick way to switch from the ring tone option to just vibrate, like the one button press i had on my samsung d500?

For better ring tone performance do not put the entire Mp3 song as ring tone. It is not required as you are unlikely to keep ring tone for more than 30 sec. Cut the song to 20-30 seconds size. The melody composer provided with MPT tools help you to do sound editing. Cut the portion you want and then use fade effect to fade beginning and end properly. Mp3 files less than 200 kb are best as bigger files take longer time to load in the memory and invariably delay the start up of ringing. Move the Mp3 from memory card to phone memory by using move option in the 'Sounds' menu.

Spikester,
Have you considered just compressing the ringtone file down to a size that will fit on the card? Might be the easiest/quickest solution...but admittedly, not the best.

I'm on Vodafone UK.
There isn't enough room on the phone memory for me to put the song I want as my ringtone on, it fits on the card, and the vodafone branding wont let me set one of those mp3's as ringtones :o(
If it is simple enough to debrand the phone could you e-mail me at: steve260984@aol.com
Maybe just telling how to do it, the guide on the other website isn't fully clear + I cant get all the software :o( I would like to do it my self rather than send it off and spend money on getting it done though.

wat vodafone are you? im vodafone ireland! and i could copy my mp3 to the phone memoery then set that as a ringtone.
the Pro's of DeBranded Software!
1. faster menus
2. when taking photos r videos you dont have to press amillion buttons just to save the photo
3. all photos + videos are automaticly saved to the phones memory card.
4. when opening ur media files, eg photos, videos and sounds it opens the memory card first.
5. it has the orginal Motorola Apps and Ringtones
6. it has a prober Mp3 Player
The Cons of the Debranded software
1. the menu icons look crap, vodafone ones are better
2. you can change the button on the rightside of the phone, it is always the internet

Thanks for the help. It is too hard to find all that software, I could get the PK 2.9 but couldnt get the RSD lite stuff + I dont have a clue how any of that software works and dont want to break my phone.
Also It wont allow me to set any of my mp3's as ringtones on my phone, the vodafone branding stops me from doing it.

What software do you have to get it to work? I have MPT 3.11, but im not sure how to debrand the L7.
How do you set Mp3's as ringtones with the Vodafone software? As I have songs on my flash card but it wont let me set any songs from it as ringtones?

Where did you get your phone debranded? Are you sure you cannot set delivery reports on permantly? I read on a review of the phone that you can have them set to stay on all the time. Also did it put itunes on the phone, or does is change the mp3?

i have got my L7 debranded, it is very easy to do. ya can have mp3 as ring tones with the vodafone branding, also with debranded version, you still cant have delivery reports premantly on.
the debrand revision is quicker and has a prober mp3 player on it. but the menu icons are crappy looking, the vodafone ones are why better.
