this mobile is fantastic. its browser,screen and mp3 player is superb. but its bettery sucks bigtime. i have 2 charge daily!!! and u cant use mp3s in memorycard as ringtones

HI! Can someone guide me in setting up my connection between my phone and my pc. Its not working for me right now , with the CD Rom the installation process goes halfway.

This cel is amazing,great ring tones,colour and of course 1 Gb of memory is the most important thing,I have 100 or more mp3 in the card slot!But the cam is the bad part,640x480,very short resolution!

Pretty good rig all around - clear reception, intuitive interface. One question - it's listed as having a VOICE MEMO feature, that I used a lot on my last phone - a RAZR. I can't find it in the manual or oanywhere in the menus on the phone. Anybody know how to do this on the SLVR?

Mr. RJ,
To install games and applications u have to download ".jar" files and paste it inside the "kjava" forlder on ur memory card. The go to the Games and applications of ur phone and try the "install new" option and select memory card. If the jar file is made for L7 it will work!!

i just wanted to let u guys know that a 2 gig memory card can be used with the L7. you just have to format it to the phone. i just tried it like 5 mins ago n it worked. i have been trying to make it work for quite some time now. i didnt figure it out until i came to gsmarena..thanks guys

i can see mostof the people here are wondering what can we do with their minimum capability phone,may be the cameras clarity is poor,but we all know it has an vga cam,how can u expect more from it,with in all vga phones moto l7 is the best(my opinion).
so people go to www,modmymoto.com or www.motomodders.net,these sites have innumerable moddings and skins etc....., which will give your phone a different great look,it will make ur friends jealous on u

ugraded memory of my phone however openning application is now very slow...even taking videos is slow...any suggestions??? or software? tnx alot

mykyt, i haven't done much research on it lately, but however, it is likely u may need to change your present firmware to the one of the l7i, seeing that it has edge technology. i will keep u posted on more info though. *_*

Just bought me a 2 Gig Micro SD to upgrade my phone. I should have come here first to find out that the phone only supports up to 1 Gig.

Please I newly purchased this Motorola SLVR L7,after browsing through it i discovered that you cannot use the musical files inside the memory card as your ringing tone directly for the phone memory,excepting you have to copy from the memory card to phone memory and when you try doing that it complains of low memory. for i have additional 128mb memory space attached to it natural 10mb memory space.and i want to use the musical files inside the memory card as my ringtone but it difficult or is that function reserved for the next upgrade that could be Motorola SLVR L9 if i may predict.
please I need someone to help me for this for i do not like the inbuilt ringtones.
