Okay I got all the way to number 5 but then I don't understand how you add it to your phone without just re-adding it under your iTunes..and that doesn't help make it a ringtone..so what am I not understanding??
Okay for those wanting to use iTunes as an mp3 ringtone:

"I figured it out. Here are the steps.
How to make a SLVR mp3 ringtone using iTunes:
1. Create a ringtone specific playlist, and drag the songs you want to the list.
2. Go to the playlist, highlight a song, and navigate to "Get Info"
3. Click "Options" adjust start and stop times.
4. Go to iTunes Preferences > Advanced > Importing
Settings- Import Using: mp3 encoder
Setting: Custom (32kbps mono, 22.050 khz, mono, optimized)
5. Playlist > select all > right click convert selection to mp3.
6. Add to your phone via Bluetooth or USB
This is the first way I got it to work without any special software. I'm sure the settings can be manipulated for better quality or smaller files size."

Ahmad,
Mp3 quality is pretty good for a mobile phone. Offcourse the higher the sampling rate of the mp3s the better it will sound. So make sure u choose a decent/high bitrate when converting songs. If the mp3s were recorded poorly, all u'll be hearing would be some garbled noise :(
Havent had a chance to use the earphones dat came with it. Music comes out nice clear and crisp, unlike some phones dat sounds muffled and dull. Offcourse being a tiny speaker, there is virtually no bass :(
Hope dat helps :)

Just got the SLVR few days ago. Great phone. User friendly design & UI. Transfering files between PC and Phone is as easy as pie, as long as u hav installed the provided software in the bundled cd.
One question: Setting up the MMS/GPRS. I have to set these up manually since im in SE Asia(Brunei)and pre-loaded settings doesnt have my carrier(DST). Can anyone help?

Thanks, Digiboy. Yes, I meant storing on the phone, of course. And it doesn't seem satisfactory as for me the mobile is 90% texting and only 10% talking.
Thanks,
Max
