Jessica, if you want to remove the memory card, don't try and pull it out directly. push it inward. a spring mechanism will release the card and slide out so that you can pull it out with ease.
To the person who was asking regarding sound quality, i think its great with the headphones provided in the package. The bass delivery especially is better than some of the other earphones i've tried. I do think the earphone units are big and they hurt upon extensive usage. would have preferred an in-ear design like sony-ericsson's w series. The other things that came in my package included the charger, data cable, screen cleaner extra earphone buds and the software cd. I believe some US packages also include a mini-USB to 3.5mm headphone jack converter and a leather pouch. would have loved to have them. I had to make a pouch myself becuase i couldn't find the right design.
And to the person who asked if it scratches easily, i am not sure. I have dropped the phone twice. no scratches yet, considering it fell on solid floor tiles and not on a carpet. the phone has a really smooth finish and slips very easily. Its a fingerprint magnet. talk with the phone touching your cheek and the screen gets all greasy, so it would make sense to get a screen guard, or a leather/crystal case.

I am looking into buying the L7 and I am just wondering how people have found the keypad. Is it easy to damage or scratch? And does it get dirty with finger prints and the like easily?

hey can anyone plz tell me if this phone has good sound quality?
and is it supplied from the manufacturer with a data cable,memory card and an mp3 headset?
and if we do get a memory card what is it storage?

LR, u r pressing the right combination, it shud lock. i believe there must be a prob with u phone.
Beeke,
press messages, then look for info services(select)
then u will see "no messages", then press the menu button(not the small circle button BUT the button with many - lines), then u will see setup, press select n then under service, change to ON and then set quick view to 50.

this phone is the coolest phone ever im 12 it has video and every thing the camera isnt the best but it is still good and the best part bluetootth my friend send me such cool ringtones

just baught the slvr l7.it has a good display,great keypad and sound but the worst camera.the main menu i very easy to use and the icons lack amimation like we find in sonys and nokia phones.
it is very slim and handy.it is a very simple phone not meant for young people but for older ones.its a bouring phone but it has the memory.i suggest you to go for nokia 6131,6681,6630 allare much better

Anybody knows how to switch on the Cell Info in L7 (Like nokia have a cell info in display bottom which shows in which network area that is place now u r).. In nokia we can display the place name at the bottom of the display by switching on the cell info by selecting 'ON' option..Plz Help Me...

i think i am in front of one of the best fone i ever used,,, it rocks and all what i need is in it , it's sleek and well built without any serious issues but the camera needs some improve.......4 every1 who face any prob with it just contact me and about locking it keypad press (-) and the main menu will appear then press (*) and the keypad will be locked or u can go 2 security in settings menu and u will find it there...

l7 rocks man..gud fone all in all.fits in budget n has almost all d latest features of being a latest fone.if sum1 cud let me know when we insert d 1gb memory card,speed of transfers wud still be d same..or d handset wil give problems gettin slow...
any feedbacks apreciated.

allan, i am pressing the (-) button and (*) button, and the keypad still doesnt lock. I have tried many ways of locking the keypad but do not have any success. i have searched around but have found no information on this problem. If anyone has any other ways of locking the keypad please let me know. thanks. By the way the network im on is Virgin.

Hello every1...
This fone is really nice. I bought it last week. i had inserted memory card in it... but d problem is i m not being able 2 take it out. do i hav to do it manually ? (i guess so) by the time that card "clicked", it was well inside d fone.. now i donno how 2 tak it out

its a gr8 fone.....bought it a week back and believe me it worth the value ,,,everything is just perfect abt the fome ...any probs regard to anything...comtact me...i am a fone master...........bye

LR, it shud lock unless u r not pressing the right button. it is the button that has the following symbol ( - ), above the directional button, not the small circle button. both the small circle button n the - button leads to the menu
