ive had this phone for over a month, it looks really nice and i love the mp3 player. i have fun using this one as my mp3 player when i go to the gym. but there are problems with this phone. since im used to using nokia, its not really user friendly. also, it always hangs!!!! after a few phone calls, the screen would turn all white and its gonna say no signal, then i have to power it off and on again for it to work. so sad. the only thing i like about this phone is the looks and you can play mp3 songs plus the sound quality is better than nokia. other than that, id stick with nokia.

OMG PPL, now i know why my keybourd doesnt light, it lights in dark!!but not in light,dam thats nicezzzzz, i dont think that any other phone has this fuction

Hello.
I got a 512MB memory mini sd card for my motorola slvr L7. The problem is that i can only do 30 second clips? around 800 single clips? Do you know how i make it into one big clip instead of loads of single clips.

Now you say it...I see the blue light on the keypad only sometimes...Anyway...compared to my samsung Z140 which was a piece of ##!"$!X@YY/!!!, the Motorola L7 is really good !

just bought this thing..it look very expensive..very nice thing..but one question, why only screen lights?no lights at keyboard?only sometimes it lights for few sec and then down..

I just bought it on saturday. I was really mad about my samsung Z140 (I sold it to my girlfriend !) ! So I decided to try a motorola, the L7. Of course, its design is the first thing you see. It is really attractive, especially the silver model. Waouah...when you have it in hand. Thin, robust, elegant, it's metal, not plastic. OK, this is how it looks. What about functions and features ? First of all, the screen. Simply amazing ! Vivid colors, high resolution. The sound...waouh ! You feel like in a disco ! Very loud and clear. Hard to miss a call. The interface is good. It is not as illogical as the reviewer says. Ok, I find a bit illogical that there one icon for recording video and one for shooting pictures...but no big deal. The rest of the interface is normal. I am not really fan of cameras so I won't spend much time on it. It is a VGA and I think the pictures a pretty good. The quality is at least better than the ones made with my former samsung Z140. Anyway, I just use it to have pictures from the callers. Alarm and calendar are good. SMS writing is good but maybe a bit of delay when press a key. You must wait 1-2 s before you can press the same key. Otherwise I don't find the keypad confusing for writing SMS, there is no pb. What is a pitty is that it does come with a flash card. So you are left with 6 MB free memory, which is not much. Also, it does come with the USB cable. I think Motorola could have included these in the package. Otherwise, all the functions are good. A bit delay when viewing the pictures, but it's ok. For the moment I can't say anything about battery life, I loaded the battery saturday night and it is still full. I hope it will be what motorola promises...
In summary, it is really a good phone. It has all the main functions a "normal" user needs. The design is fantastic, the screen amazing and the sound very good. The price is ok, in vodafone I bought it for 177 euros and 500 points.

Can someone please tell me how to put video files on my phone(i already have the 512mb flash card)? Do i need something else apart from the flash card to put video files on it
? Do i need any software to put these files in? if someone knows e-mail me at ray.skaterboy@yahoo.com i would apreciate it

well...i just bought this phone abt 3 weeks back for about 200++ dollars...itz a good phone..i was previously using ngage so this is reli great coz itz so damn light n small..now to fucntions...the camera is okay..juz a vga but no prob..the phone doesnt reli lag n only takes a long time 2 go into applications such as the mp3 player...im currently using a 128 n it hasnt lagged so far...only thing im not 2 sure is the video recording...sumtinmes i can take 30 secs..sumtimes i can take up to 1min15secs so im nt sure how it works..otherwise itz a nice phone to have...but one muz either have a great cover or muz be very hardworking to wipe fingerprints off the keypand n scree...besides this itz quite handy and extremly stylish to have...ppl go like WOW !..only thing i wished it hav was a FM Radio !..thats it...for all u function crazy ppl out there who don care abt look don buy this coz it has function but not high end.thats it.any further info u can add me in msn messenger at mystikaldude@hotmail.com or just email me..goodbye !

I had V600 (till yesterday), now this is may favorite(it will take some time to get fammiliar with reversed answer key and menu. Still discovering options, but I would like to use programable left and right menu keys-is there option for that?

i just got e phone and i think the functions are just alright for me, cuz i got it for e design. It doesn't lag n it comes with a earpiece. :D

for cingular_rep, all L7's sold in the united kindom must have an extra £20 payed to buy the ptt on the motorola L7. and even luppo will agree with this. so therefore it is not included!

I think that this phone is great. it has great features, designs.Plus the preformance is not bad.It has a great camera. This phone is like a tooth pick in a hey stack. So it is once in a life time.By the way did i tell u how much i love this phone.
