I have bought L7. All are fine with L7 fucntions, but one weak function is that a MP3 song set as ring tone shouldn't be saved and stored in the phone as bult-in memory is not that big. In stead, it should link to read from storage card for a ring tone ringing.

It is difficult to export/import contacts from nokia.
Motorola Phone Utility is very slow.
If you have good nokia keep it.

fabulous phone. i really like the design and the sound and the screen and its colour is fantastic. the keys might be a little too close to each other but once you get used to it, its okay. i have a problem tho. when typing an sms the editor doesn't tell me how many parts the msg will be sent. it tell me DURING the sending of the msg so i don't know how many parts the msg is going thru till then. can someone tell me?

For chris barnett : The L7 does have PTT. It uses a push to talk standard which is not supported by any USA carriers there for it has been made dormant, instead this button will trigger the "My stuff" menu were you cameras options are. But in reality the phone is capable of doing PTT and the software/hardware are in the phone a simple software unlocking at your local Phone repair shop will suffice in order to make the feature work... REMEMBER no usa carriers support this "type" of push to talk Cingular uses KODIAK ptt and i believe this phone uses PVOC or somethign like that.......

It's slim looks and feal like a ipod nano ipod mp3 player it's a nice phone with deacent features but nothing compared to a SYMBIAN OS phone with a nokia 6682 per exemple you can play music while talking on the phone while youre playing a game.the palmone treo 600 can play mp3 while recording a video the samsung d600 has tv out no really the l7 is not that powerfull .
                              looks good and plays mp3s

So, ive been researching what phone to buy. Ive had the SE z500a. Ive been considering the SLVR. The only things holding me back are the camera and organization.

I really like the organizer, synchronization, calendar with SE and how it synchs with Outlook on my PC.

All ive been reading about about the SLVR is the itunes, camera, music limit.

I just want to know form someone who has it, how is the organization, calendar and synch features? Reminders, tasks all that stuff. Thats one of my main reasons I might stay with SE instead of Motorola. I've been reading that the SLVR has these features but some of my friends say they suck. Anyone care to add?

This phone is great, the camera aint the best, but then its a phone, and if you want a fanstatic camera, get a digital camera not a phone! Everything else aboutt his phone is great, its cheapi(ish) and only rich people like Chris BArnett can afford a better phone. GREAT!
