I purchased my phone from Cingular at a store in the US and apparently have the European version?????
Problems I have with this phone;
1. No iTunes
2. 128 mb vs. the advertised 512
3. No AIM messenger
4. Annoying "_@" voicemail text
The phone itself is great but IMO the European version sucks for me..
If anyone could help me I truly would appreciate it or else I giving it back and demanding a US version.

can anyone tell me how to setup the web/gprs features on this phone with tmobile? i cant figure how to do it. thanks!

I have had my phone for about 2 weeks and I love it. I never wanted a phone for the music but I find that the sound system is impressive. So I now want to use it. It comes in handy when waiting at the doctors office etc. I love the sleekiness. I do find that I am more potective with it because it is so slim. But know that I have case for it I am more at ease. I find that it is pretty ease to use. Since I love personalizing my electronic componets, this makes for a good phone in my opinion. I up it 4 out of 5 stars. I wish the keys were easier to push but at the same time that flattness is what attracted me to it. So you take the good with the bad. lol .

Just got the L7, cool phone and all, but i still cannot figure out how to get delivery notification on text messages!

When i play mp3 using digital audio player and if i get an incoming call, the players stops and does not resume automatically.
Is there a way to change this setting ?

alright, after searching for hours I finally got my SLVR L7 to communicate with my PC via USB and transfer, Music, Images, Java etc.
You must use these programs (below) in-order for this to work..
-RSD Lite V. 2.5
-P2KTools
(email: shane@xecution.org) if you want it! (Limited Time)
Steps:
1. Install RSD Lite and execute.
2. Plug in phone via USB.
3. Install proper drivers (found in RSD Lite directory!!! multiple times)
3a. wait until driver installation is complete and the "ballon" pops up!
4. In RSD click; "Show Device" and wait until the phone is listed.
5. Execute P2KTools (verify the green light at bottom)
note: RSD must be started first before using P2K!

. I just purchased a SLVR unlock on the web and I'm having problems pairing
the phone with my MAC. I was wandering if by any chance anyone can help me out figuring out
how to fix the problem. The phone comes with a digital player not itunes and I 'm wondering how
to move my mp3s to the phone. I hope someone can help.

Overall, this phone is amazing. I heard from a friend that the MP3 sucks,but I think it is fine. Also, I saw some people having problem with the phone displaying the wrong service provider. I don't have any problem with my T-mobile sim card in Texas. My phone displays "T-mobile". I guess it depends on what state you live, because T-mobile's network is not as great as Cingular. They have to borrow cell tower from other carrier.

I found this trick to munaully install a mp3 ringtone...
Here's how I figured out how to put an mp3 onto the SLVR and use it as a ring tone [on a Mac, at least].
1. Connect the phone to the mac and make sure disk mode is enabled [you can do this in iTunes].
2. Open the phone in the finder and go to: mobile > audio
3. Copy your mp3 to this folder.
4. Eject the phone.
5. On the phone itself, go to the Main Menu > My Stuff > Sounds
6. Use the top-middle button above the 5-way directional button to access the Sounds menu, and select Switch Storage Device.
7. Select "Card" from the menu.
8. Now your mp3 will be listed under the Sounds menu. Highlight it and press the top-middle button again.
9. Select "Move", and choose "Phone" from the next menu.
NOW, you can switch storage devices back to the phone and your mp3 will be listed under the Sounds that are actually stored on the phone. Highlight your mp3, hit the top-middle button again, and select "Apply as Ringtone".
Done and done.

hey there brother i've just buy Motorpla L7 but it does'nt have iTunes softwere i m not even able to connect my phone to pc the softwere in the cd is not supported with the phone i have e1 rokr too but im not able to send itunes to my l7 can any one tell me where can i get free itunes and softwere to detect my phone to my pc .plzzz ans me on my email farhan007us@yahoo.com or send me link to download these softweres

For some reason my l7 keeps freezing and white screening on me. I just got this phone a few days ago and im certainly not liking it so far. Apart from that the phone is great, is there by any chance you can chnage or upload skins onto this phone?? Also is there an update or something to fix the phone from freezing on me
