I have this phone its nearly good but the thing is that it only works about a day after charging and its camera is not good at all.

My first ever phone!
The annoying things about this phone was that it wouldn't let me set the pictures i took as my background & it diddn't have bluetooth.
Apart from that it was a pretty good phone of it's time.
But then i dropped it and it's screen broke...and i went on to a Motorola V600

Loved this phone soo much,it used to hold signal like grim death! the only thing that let it down,it could only hold 10 sms messages.

Ok, you can tell me what you want, but this phone is one of the best phones in the whole history. It's so reliable, I dropped it many times, I played with it, crashing making it fly and then fall on the floor etc. I was so stupid to sell it. I've never had such a good battery in motorola phone like t720i had. Great display, good second display with all needed info. This phone rocked and is still great if you don't need much memory and a good camera. It's great for sms, mms and calls. Perfect if you need a reliable phone. I'd love to see a continuation to this phone because it's a classic. Classic motorola clamshell with great, simple design. That's what I can't find in phones these days. I'm tired of all those Razrs and stuff like that. Give me a classic motorola!

Yeah i agree my mother has T722i (which i couldn't find here), its 4 years old and its great! works like new!! i have to say the camera is bad, menu is slow.. etc but hey its old in 2003 it was great.

this phone is already 5 years since announced and lauched. i just wanted to take great view of those great innovations given by the phone manufacturers SE, Nokia, Samsung, Panasonic and Siemens and motorola which shocked all users back in the year 2003...
seems like it's good looking back the history!

my phone is still going strong in 2007! This is an excellent phone for just doing the basics, phoneing, txting, alarm clock, etc. This phone has lasted all of 5 years an i have no plans to replace it any time soon!

hey to the comments negatives to this phone, c'mon this phone have more of 3 years in the market, so don't expect miracles, even with that this phone was 1 of the 3 first phones with a camera incorporated (Motot720i, a SE and a Samsumg)and in that times the camera was good! Obviusly Motorola is not the best in the market but this phone in that times was rocks!
And who haves problems with the software simply, take to the service moto and ask for a reinstalimng the firmware this is the solution to one have problems with the software.

absolutely rubbish camera ! as a matter of fact the camera is beyond crap , its predecessor (the t720) does not come with the camera option which may not be a bad thing afterall as the t720i can be described as a phone without a camera, you cant call the camera on there a CAMERA its a joke ! a total embaressment to motorola. If any of you decide to downgrade and buy this phone what ever youo do throw the detachable camera in the bin, as its the best place for it! regards

I have this phone and it didnt come with a camera and it came with 2 games, this is the second one i've gone through and on both the screens on the outside have cracked, good phone for 2 years ago but now it sucks, now im getting a Razr V3 and im not to happy about that because i think that sucks too, anyone wannt donate a Sony ericsson W810i?

i had this phone about 3 years ago and it was great i loved it and i couldnt put it down. now i have upgraded it a samsung z140v which it obviously much better but this is still a great phone but getting old i wouldnt reccoment it to anyone now but 3 years ago i would of. by moto!!

the phone is cute but it has a battery problem and also the camera is very poor so due to this the pic taken is not nice.and my has only one game

I had one of this and it worked fine. It can't compete with today's cell phones but it does the job.
