Another mistake in the specs is that the phone has a Lithium Ion battery. This phone, together with his younger brother the Motorola T190, won't accept anything else than NiMH batteries. Even under the back cover it says "Use NiMH Batteries Only".

There's a mistake in the specs. This phone DOES have an Alarm Clock. You can either set it to ring once, or you can set it to ring daily without the possibility to select the days, so that includes Saturday and Sunday, in case you wanna set it for work. However the Alarm Clock does not support Snooze function, so when it rings, you can only stop it but not postpone it.

How I loved this phone. Bought it in 2002 in Mumbai, don't really remember how much it cost, but lasted quite a while. Had a pre-paid sim card at the time and a wonderful phone number as well. Had a few problems charging it, later. Upgraded to a Nokia about 2005-06...Great memories, though.

my first too lol.. loved to shove it down to the 5-pocket of my baggy pants back then, but it was silver and looked slightly different? i downed a picture perfectly resembling it but jpg called t191 too

I think this was my 1st phone was too.. I guessed it was T190 but exactly the same..
when use for couple of minutes, it becomes very hot..
