This phone is unreliable, particularly as I had a second-hand one; I have a feeling that all T191 phones have a dry joint in the charger socket. My T191 is sitting in pieces next to my laptop; and was diagnosed (by myself, I'm afraid) with a dry charger socket joint. I had exactly the same symptoms as everyone else about my phone charging. My advice is: go to a repairman, and specify a dry joint in the charger. It will eat batteries (by bad charging), but otherwise, a great phone.

Best phone I ever had!
I fell in love with the design. It's small I'm a fan of phones with an antenna :). I never had any problems with it, and being at high school, it had to endure a lot including falls down the stairs. It lasted 3 years with only once a problem with the adapter socked, which was probably my own fault.
It's easy to use, although the keys are quite small. Unfortunatly I had to get a subscription and this phone wasn't available anymore.

It has very cool look but there is a lot a trouble with the battery , suddenly it just goes dead, it's a shame this phone has a pretty good looking.
My advice is don't buy it if yo don't want waste your money.

Very nice phone regarding visuals, however many problems with it... charging problems, bad connectors, etc. To put it more simple: do not buy this phone.

My opinion about Motorola t191 is that it is the most faulty and frustrating phone that I have bought yet. The sound is the only acceptable thing about it, I think. Everything else about it is just poorly made. The firmware (soft) chokes up quite often, the plastic keyboard is soo lame, the input method for messages is too slow, it takes me ages to write something, and besides, the service center never fixes it for me because they're short on exchange parts (or maybe they're just lazy). I've had about 15 other phones beside it and it is the most idiotic of them.
Conclusion: must be amerikan made :)
