It's almost offensive how much Inoffensive this phone is.
Seems like they played it too safe with this one, it's just that it has no character, I mean it's good, and might be even better with adequate pricing.
I look at a POCO, Samsung, Realme or a Oneplus device and I can see at least a pinch of character. But this has nothing going for it.
Guess that's why Motorola is struggling lately, it's this lack of identity, it's like a teen insecure to show his true colours.

Anonymous, 05 Jan 2023"3.5mm jack No" Well, not exactly for thinkers. Next.Spoiler: the "next" won't have a headphone jack either.

Anonymous, 06 Jan 2023...and you have to replace your Bluetooth headphones every ... moreI've got 2 pairs of jabra elite 85h headphones (partner has a pair too). Had 1 pair since 2019 and the other from 2021 and I get a week out of mine with heavy use (generally 2-6 hours a day, using them every day) my partner gets over a month battery with little use. Batteries are completely fine, no connection issues or phone call problems either, always clear and always connect to a device instantly. Again 1 pair is over 3 years old at this point and was heavily used the 1st year of owning them.

Also you do know you can use Bluetooth overheads wired right? They have 3.5 ports so you don't have to use them wirelessly/on battery.

If you told them to just move it all to SSDs they would laugh at you. You know why? Because it's cheaper. The same can be said for a Micro SD card.

01110111, 06 Jan 2023There is that old thing, bluetooth.....and you have to replace your Bluetooth headphones every 2 years when they no longer hold a charge and you can't change the batteries, creating more e-waste.

The Thinkpad line is in decline, so they just milk it to the max. But this is not a smart move. They should reveal true colors and just simply use Lenovo for their products. If there is nothing to be hidden, people will still buy Lenovo.

A brand plagued by backdoor concerns. I wonder how they can be so confident in proposing this to businesses. Even their Thinkpad line is not considered as secured, and they still want to milk it to revive the phone brand.

Anonymous, 05 Jan 2023Lenovo owns Motorola Yeah I know, but the Think brand is just so associated with Lenovo

"meet our new phone. it is exactly like all the other phones, but with a cool looking back plate"
if this is a business phone, where is the removable battery so that it could last more than 2-3 years?

Not even proper stereo speakers, instead the same hybrid setup, can guess the speaker's aren't loud. What's the business thing in this phone. Phew, another gimmick

Lenovo is less likely to be considered by companies and people who value security. Knowing that Motorola is just an outdated American brand being used to lure innocent people who are not aware of the backdoor issues.

None of that sounds like saving the environment to me. It's a scam.
