Although the company really does over price there phones but if there was a phone brand pay a price premium for it's Sony
However as Sony don't any longer even provide a changer in the box just so bad too do this i don't like company that makes otherwise good phones

Its true that one must been very skilled technician to replace battery in wireless earphones without damaging or destroying the wireless earphones.
But nowdays most products comes with at least 2 years of waranty so if anything happens before your warranty wears off company either have to 100% refunds you or give you new same device.
And when comes to landfill noone of biggest in the world is in Africa.

EV batteries can be recycled but is a very costly process.

They generate waste that ends up in some African landfill for decades to come.

2. Why TF are we talking about cars? Oh that's right, because everyone knows removing the 3.5mm jack is totally anti"-green". Batteries=pollution, planned obsolescence (Wired headphones don't have limited lifespan like powered headphones)=pollution.Non-removable batteries=more planned obsolescence/pollution.

Hopefully this will improve as EV tech is getting all the money but will the icebergs survive that long? Just look at Greenland, the himilayas, the North Pole summer shipping channel, not very likely. Cables or not on smart devices isn't really going to matter that much. It's just marketing hype...

I called it. They charged an absurdly high amount for this phone. "£ 1,149.00"
Said this in my comment on the gsmarena article on the announcement of this phone,
"Brilliant Henry Ford quote.
Not so brilliant phone though. Outdated chipset and I'm gonna assume they'll charge businesses absurd prices for it."

I hate this problem that makes no sense what so ever can this stupid hole punch notches trand die in the grave
A good screen on a smartphone is a really important thing
it's completely unnecessary for the selfie camera and screen too suffer from this problem of fighting other same area of space
Just go with bezels it gives people hand room too hold the phone without touching the screen when just simply holding the phone
Just look at Sony only brand that has design choices that makes sense and good 4k screen at that
