Just buy the old Thinkphone tbh. It's on sale for $400 most of the time on Amazon and worth it

Looks like this time they have taken some decisions to reduce the specs to help keep the cost down, The strangest decision is taking away the programmable red button from the first phone which is part of the whole branding of “Think” in the first place.

Shouldn't they just upgrade the SOC into the 8 Gen 2 or the 8s Gen 3 for this? The D7300 makes it a big downgrade to the '23 ThinkPhone

very good phone in a compact sized.. is there any affordable phone in the same dimensions..

SGH Fan, 01 Oct 2024The original ThinkPhone (the 8+ Gen 1 "23" model)... moreI guess this isn't trying to be a successor to the original ThinkPhone, but rather a more approachable alternative

why would Motorola use the Dimensity 7300 that is worse than the pervious thinkphone that used the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1

The original ThinkPhone (the 8+ Gen 1 "23" model) was better.
