hell of an expensive phone with not much of an feature. probably will break down like it's brother V300, V180, V878, etc. don't waste your money on this thing.

motorola just wasn't meant to be a good cellular phone make (PERIOD) all of their phone are full of defect and poor workmanship. I would definitely buy a 2-way radio like the "Saber" and their voice encryption system (DES) is well utilized among government officials, but NOT cellular phones.... Their quality is just not there, I'm disappointed at their fuctionality, design, RF performance and workmanship.

it's not the leader any more. It is a great phone but it's not on the market yet and the competition isn't waiting.check the new SE v800 - the same features but will be sooner on the market and will be cheaper I hope. I like Motorola and have it but this waiting.... I'm gonna get SE v800. cann't wait any more. sory motorola :(

Does the Motorola V1000 have a video recorder?
If it does, how long can you record for?

the mp3 player im referring is a player in the hp that is able to read mp3 files...not the type of mp3 player like realplayer in build into the phone...

SNCX there is a big difference between an Mp3 player and Mp3 ringtones.

And a phone which has an Mp3 player doesn't necessarilly have the ability to play Mp3 ringtones.

this phone it would the best if it released in 2004 but in 2005 it is going to have some serious competition

to crazyy....it doesnt make any difference if it is a mp3 player or mp3 ringtones...if the phone is able to play mp3..it can use it as a ringtone....this phone will not be out on the market at least till 2005....so u guys stop thinking whether its real or not, or when it will be out....wait for more news..and to 'stuart instrell' if phones can pack so many things into it and is able to get into a small compact size...will it be cheap or rather reasonable...the price will be shocking...it is not cheap to get many components into a small compact device..and that if they manage to pack it all...how can they sell at a reasonable price and still get much profit...do u even know marketing and accounting...income is alreadi difficult to make...still want to talk about profits..u kids..
