@ Angela - go to "Styles" then click on the style detail and the third row says "Messages" - that's where you change the tone. Cheers!

i like this phone - had it for 3 years - battery life is a tad low - i would like a phone with fm radio this one does not have - more durable than razrV3 with my experience - good signal i thought - keep a bookmarked dictionary page handy for yourself :)

This phone is great. The battery life outperforms all my friends by probably 2-3 days. I've had mine 2 years and have dropped it a few times on concrete and it keeps on going. It also has a good style and the size makes it comfortable to keep in a pocket.

FYI: About the .3gp files, not only QT can play it. Another great player is "GOM Player". You can download it from www.gomlab.com.

Well, it's easiest to transfer the videos from the phone to your PC, and then play them. As far as I know only Quick Time Player can play .3gp files so you'll need that. It's free, luckily.

Or, you can convert the .3gp files into another format using something like Total Video Converter but that's more trouble than it's worth it ;-)

You have several choices - you can get a mini-USB cable (4-5 Euros, really cheap, in any decent store) and download Motorola Phonetools software somewhere (try modmymoto.com) and install it to your PC.

Or, you can get Bluetooth for your PC.

But I think it's easiest if you get a memory card and a mini-USB cable, in that case you don't need any software as when you connect Motorola and PC, the PC recognizes the card as an external USB drive and you just have to know how to copy and paste ;-) Plus, while you're doing it the phone is charging.

                              Good luck!

I've had mine for over 2 years. the only problem i had was it switching off when i closed it too hard after about a year. i got a new battery and it has worked perfectly ever since.

I am however looking for a new phone around about the same price range if not cheaper. I'd like to have the same features but with a nokia/samsung phone. has anyone got any suggestions?

                                        my email is mardav.david@gmail.com

                                        thank you in advance!
