To see your uploaded mp3's from your pc in the Sounds menu:
>in the sounds folder, hit the menu button. The hit Switch Storage Device. options Trans and Phone. Hit Trans. You will then see the mp3's.
>highlight an mp3. Hit menu button. Hit move. Select phone. It copies the files from card to phone.
>Now when you check ringtones, you will see the mp3 there.

when i plug in my usb cable (with the Connectivity set to 'memory card'), i automatically see the contents of my micro SD. i have a folder named 'mobile'.
Under 'mobile', there are several folders but the most important being 'audio', 'video' and 'picture'.
in order to use an mp3 as my ringtone, i have to first save it in 'audio' folder in the memory card and then transfer the file to phone memory. When i access the Sounds menu and view the mp3 in my phone memory, there is an option called 'apply as ringtone' which is available ONLY when accessing the phone memory.
the same applies for pictures but the 'apply as wallpaper' option is available when viewing both types of memory.
hope tht helps.

Ok, all you guys keep saying put the mp3 in your phone memory. But can someone please tell me EXACTLY how to do this, cause i just cant seem to figure it out. I cut down a regular sized mp3 so it's small enough to fit. I just cant see how to get in onto the phones memory. I can get it in the audio player but not as a ringtone. Please, someone who has done it post exactly what you did to help all of us who are having trouble out. Thanks...

people people calm down.
to send files to your mem card, simply connect the phone to the pc.
then open the file ( memory card file ).
there should be 8 files there.
for music you put your songs in the audio file note: only 192 bit rate.
video got to video folder note: only 3gp or mp4
and games got to the kjava file
and pictures go to the images or picture folder.

Im getting my moto today, cant wait. I bought 512mb trans flash card and motorola bluetooth stereo headset HT820. Total paid about 400 bucks whith shippment (phone, headseth, memory card). If all features on this phone works so for his price its just GREAT phone. I now that for example SE W900 have better features, but it cost about 700 bucks. If ya want great phone whith alot features (and you are inteligent enough to realize that foto from ya phone cant win any awards, even whith best "phone" camera) but ya dont want pay gigantic money for it (its just a cellphone at last) get it. Im starting test my phone today so i keep ya update about how it works.
