I received this phone today. I cannot change the clock to analogue. When I go to personalise then home screen it just gives me options to change the soft key settings. I also seem unable to transfer and play music. I follow the manuals instructions, the tune shows on the transflash card when connected to the computer but cannot be found on the phone. I think it may be faulty. Would like to hear some opinions re this. Otherwise its a nice phone.

I have a question about using earphones with the MP3 player. does it auto-detect that stereo earphones have been plugged in - as opposed to a speaker/mic combo? I need to pick up an adapter for my earphones later on, but it would suck if it only produces sound from one ear still.
Whoever was asking about changing the clock on the front to analogue, it's under Settings->personalise->Home Screen.
You have to change both clocks - the one on the external screen and the internal one when you open the phone though.
If anyone's wondering about how to connect to a PC if you don't get software - you don't need any (with windows 2000 or XP anyway). If you have a mini-USB lead (they're fairly common - mp3 players, cameras, etc often have one) then you just plug it in and it appears basically as a card reader. I've downloaded a pile of Java games onto the phone this way :)

Call records 10 dialed, 10 received, 10 missed calls.-- I think it's not true cuz my dialed list now has 37 , my received has 35 . MP3 ringtones in Flash memory can't be set with names in phone. You should only save ringtones in phone.

so far my v360 can play all video formats 3gp and mp3 and mpeg4. The only it struggles with are 'midi' sounds from the PC. Motorola website has the software which comes with a usb cable. Does anyone know how to turn off the predictive texting and where to get a manual in English?

Nice phone. Had it a few days and was torn between the V360 and Samsung Z140. Samsungs rotating camara feels really cheap and will break easily. The V360's expandable memory is great. Bluetooth works well. Screen is not that good for 265K colours. Vodafone Spain let you try the phone for a month before choosing to keep it on Pay as you go. In Spain the v360 comes with a two year warrenty. If the camara had better resolution the phone would be twice the price I guess. Shame there is no software provided for downloading pictures etc. I bought this to replace my Sharp GX15 as this has more memory. In truth, comparing the three, v360 and samsung Z140 and Sharp gx15. The Sharp is the better phone, but compared to this motorola has no memory to speak of.

Thank you SUMO for your suggestions. It's all working out for me. =)
For those asking,I bought this phone, and it came with 64Mb memory card. And the video recording can only last for 30 secs, then u have to record another clip.
I have another problem recently, its the WAP website. the V360 can't load the picture. I have tried it on my friend's Nokia and Samsung, and its working fine. The site is
www.onemotoring.com.sg/wap
Then you go YES, then Traffic Info. then Camera, then any location and any camera, the picture cannot be loaded. When i choose Download Image, it says its a unrecognised filetype.
Is it the firmware?

Have solutions for FEI's problems.
First of all if you don't wanna muffle the fantastic speaker, then make sure you let the speaker face outward when you chuck it into your pocket.
As for your second problem. I've discovered that in order for your phone to detect other handsets, you have to decide wht you wanna do FIRST. i.e. move or copy file. THEN ONLY after you select to transfer through Bluetooth, will your 'Look for devices' actually search and register other bluetooth phones. The 'Look for devices' under the main Bluetooth menu is only for bluetooth handsfree I suppose.
This is good as it is more secure. So if you wanna send files, you should detect your friend and vice versa. As opposed to setting up a connection first before transferring files. Some phones such as Sony Ericssons' will display all the contents of motorola phones and they may download whatever they choose if the connection has already been set up. One solution is to do the above i.e. decide which you want to transfer and send it to your friend OR turn off your bluetooth connection, edit your friend's 'access' profile to 'always ask' before reconnecting again. in this profile, the person will have to ask for one's permission before performing any function.
