I love my V3X.
P.S For the battery cover being too loose,
Just put a little duck tape in between the battery and battery cover. Thus, there is no movement or squeeking.

First off if you want to use the Razr with your pc be prepared to drop another 50$ for Motorolla's Phone tools and good luck on getting it to work. After installing the software I plug in the phone as instructed and the software wont find it. I have also found that the glue holding the protective plastic cover over the screen has liquified and ran all over the inside of the phone and on the screen where you can't clean it. I also find that when I am in an area with no signal like in a building I have to turn the phone off or the battery dies within a few hours. My little 20$ Nokia lasted for 5 years on the original battery. My first and last Motorola product.

Been using this phone for almost 3 months now. Traded in my SE K750i for it, coz the joystick keep failing after 5 times repeat warranty. Great Phone. I can store more than 600 messages without running out of space. Design's great, nice to hold, feel and touch. Messaging is fast and smooth, it takes a while to get used to it. Serious. Camera is okay if u take pictures of objects in close distances, objects get blurred when camera too far away. Camera is fine for taking self potraits. Macro mode is indeed brilliant. Serious!
The disadvantages would be the screen going blank to white frequently when i flip it close. Other than that. I'm fine with it.
Battery runs flat fast during the first few days of usage, but after frequent and long hours of charging, it would last pretty long. Serious! Anyway, battery is not a problem since two are provided in the first place. This phone is pretty. Trust me. A great phone for people going for style, comfort, and ease of use. Lovin it..

a good phone but the one thing that annoyed me about it was the housing for it. the back doesn't fit properly and makes noises every time you touch it.

Hi i have been told that you can turn off 3g on the motorola v3x to extend battery life can anyone tell me how?and also can anyone tell me how to extend the video time only mine last just 20 seconds thanks

i read the review, it says it doesnt have an earphone jack! does that mean you can only hear music through the loudspeaker? how lame is that!

If I load my MP3 files from my PC can they be used as ringtones? If so, how do I go about it? Also does the handsfree speaker phone only work when making calls but not when receiving?

anyone have problems with bluetooth. It was working fine the first week. Then it stopped auto connecting and i turned off the bluetooh on the phone and now i cant turn it back on. Its just says bluetooth powering on.. i let it run for like 10 min. and still nothing

i want to buy this phone but after reading some comments about it i don't know what to do. some of them say that is a great phone but another ones say that it has a lot of problems, maybe the bad comments are just because of a bad software

I was able to give a digit but.....I'm I obliged to remember the digit to get the dial???

Hey everyone - to me this phone is about the best of the competitors where I am (South Africa). Now I know what ur thinking - South Africa doesnt get the best, but thats no longer true with the increasing number of foreigners living here demanding the same performance from gadgets as at home.
My question is to the people who actually use the 3g feature - Is this feature even worth using?
And the second question is: Which is the best colour for the phone? I have seen the white which i though looked good in the pc but might look cheap in real life and the black version which is also black when opened instead of the silver.

I have the V3x and the feather list said that the battery last for at least 5-6 days but my battery lasts only 1 and a half days can you tell me why? I dont get that much calls and also dont use the other functions.I bought the phone three weeks ago and had the problem ever since.

Sky... just tried it and mine does not hang... so sorry but the Motorola engineers obviously did think about it hahahaha.
Maybe it's ur cellphone provider version software thats lame.

hey every owner of v3x...try this thing....
go to ur outbox open a sms msg,
go "option"->reply.
type some words....then now close your clamshell phone.
it will hang.....not sure if urs does too....hahaha everytime i did it, it hangs....what if i am replying a msg n all of a sudden i want to close my phone???
does motorola firmware programmers neva thought of this b4???

erm......its a lot thicker. but the camera is gd..its quite lag and its phone is only 24 polyphonic....i think nokia 6280 is a better phone:)
