      Jayendra,

your phone's software was changed by your service provider.(vodafone, 3, virgin, orange). All you have to do is flash it in order to get the phones original software.(go see a phone specialist to get it flashed).

well i'm not very interested in getting this hp but i thought u guys wld be interested to know that this hp has been voted the best 3gms hp in the world. see article: http://www.motorola.com/mediacenter/news/detail.jsp?globalObjectId=6431_6380_23

i'm a bit surprised.. just a teeny weeny bit. i've always felt that motorola hp r quite slow in such things like downloading n even trying to access the msg inbox. n plus,im working at a telecom in my country but ive always find that nokia 6280 or n80 r much MUCH more coveted than this...

i'm one of those ppl whos only comfy with using nokia so whether or not this hp is socalled the best, i can nvr get other brands except nokia. just wondering if anyone here is surprised that v3x is The Chosen One. maybe users of the hp can actually tell me why its so great? perhaps its abt time i open my mind n explore other hps :)

Mate... first time I'm hearing bout being unable to reply a message so must be your phone or u just dont know how to use the phone... all u do when u wanna reply is click OPTIONS on the msg ur reading... Select REPLY... end of story.

I hope you really had a problem and not just another case of just being someone who likes to moan and could not figure out that the "OPTIONS" is obviously what you would select to find messaging options available i.e reply, forward, store, lock etc... come on mate how hard was that?

If u still got problems then Call ur mobile phone company to sort it out.

Its a nice looking phone but user friendly it is NOT. I cant reply to a message. It fails and gets sent to the outbox to retry later. I can create a new message no problem.

Is there some path I need to set up?

Go into ur video options and set Quality to GOOD; Video length to MAXIMUM. If u change the Quality to Better or Best...this reduces the available time cos i guess that uses more memory since it produces better quality pictures.

With video Qualiy set to GOOD... For Maximum it records 1hour; MMS long records 45secs and MMS Short records 10secs.

Note that this is all after I upgraded my software...when it was str8 Orange software the Max was 30mins.

There a couple of people referring to their V3x Turning off itself, or restarting. Somtimes you may open the flap and the screen is white and phone restarts. Or you will get it out of your pocket and the phone will be off?? random. Or when you close the flap the phone will restart or turn off.

Problems im sure a lot of people have experienced with their new V3x. All were problems that I experienced too in the second week of owning the phone.

I took the phone back and the phone was sent to have a 'Software Upgrade' I thought how the hell is a software upgrade going to fix these issues????

Got the phone back. Havn't had a problem since. This is an option that worked for me. Thats what warranty is for. I bought this phone immidietely upon its release here. There is always going to be teething problems with a new series, whether it be a phone, a computer, a car...

From what everyone has said..the battery life is fairly poor. I am in Australia and just got a BC70 from the US. I get an easy 4 days use from this extended life battery. Well worth upgrading! it is a little bit thicker but the OEM back cover still squeezes on.

Yes you can easily send pictures via bluetooth. Go to MULTIMEDIA> PICTURES> select the picture you want to send the OPTIONS> MANAGE> COPY> you can copy via Bluetooth here.

Battery upgrade done. This was the only problem. Best phone I have owned!!

                                  Cheers

Can some one tell me how is the phonebook of this phone compared to the simple V3 since that was no good. does this have a comprehensive contact management in the phonebook, or, like V3, you get 5 enteries if you have 5 different number for one person

To all questioning the Bluetooth functonality...

To send picture, videos, music etc by bluetooth all u need to do is go to the pic, vid u wanna send... click OPTIONS... MANAGE... then Copy (if just copying over to friend or other device)...or Move if moving completely (it will be removed from your v3x)... once done u would see the option for bluetooth..select it and it will turn on ur BT and search for devices...once u find dem just send it.

Also... i'm sure we all go into our Audio Devices...this is just for ur Headset and stuff...thats why it's called AUDIO Devices.

If it's to send to something u've connected to b4...just go into FOUND DEVICES..select the device and thats all...it will find it as long as that ones turned on.
