just come back from london. you can have the v3x for free on orange or 3 for around 30-50£/month during 12 months (=50$=50eur ish). no idea when it will be avaiable here in france (??). couldnt see the v3i during my trip. if v3x is released now in uk for such cheap prices, v3i seems useless...

And this phone isn't metal like the original V3 - it's all plastic except for the keypad.

Just in case that wasn't clear from the photos you've seen.

You can choose from a few video settings - Video Quality: Good, Better or Best and Video Length: MMS Short, MMS Long or Maximum (which seems to be 10 mins). You can choose to record sound or not, use spatial audio (whatever that is) and a few other bits.

Camera doesn't seem as good as the one on the D600 though, not as sharp and clear.

One thing I don't know if anyone has mentioned yet - when someone calls you, or you plug the phone in to charge, you get a knightrider style glowing red light which is the width of the phone on the section below the buttons.

Carphone warehouse seem to suggest they will be having deliveries of this phone within 2 - 3 weeks.

Vodafone to carry RAZR V3x in UK this Christmas

Looks like Vodafone UK is one of the first carriers to commit to the new Motorola RAZR V3x phone. Yeah, seems that name is here to stay. The coyly worded announcement says they will “market” a line of 15, 3G phones (10 of which are Vodafone exclusives) in the run up to Christmas — making us wonder if any will actually ship by then? Now don’t worry, we’re sure your progeny won’t mind foregoing their gifts this year as long as you’re the first geezer on the council estate with a flash new mobile, dig.

Got one of these to test at the moment, it has 62mb of internal memory and the transflash card slot is under the battery cover.

Disappointed that the plastic feels a bit cheap, but the production versions may well be better.

Updated the software today and the camera is still funky - often have errors when trying to use it.

it will work anywhere in the world.
it will comute between 3g networks or not.

I really what im seeing its very smart and compacted. But seen that im all the way in Jamiaca would it work to the full capacity if the service provider provides all the service that the phone carries ?
And what about the signal will it work in this part of the world ?

yea i had an important question so anybody feel free 2 answer, please... it is does the razr v3x not work in the us or certain parts because it isn't compatible with the gsm 850 network? or does this mean the signal strenght wont be as good. i have tmobile. ok thanks
