i was speaking to this lady which works for motorola and she said that it will be launched before x'mas.. going to see a workin model in 3 weeks.. cant wait for that..

news from Cingular, definitely coming out in December, no word on price yet. it will be coming out around same time that Moto puts out a CDMA version of the original RAZOR.

Reply to:flip. wad up? the guy whos selling the moto V3x on ebay for $350 U.S dollars is probably a fake. I was about to buy a V3x from ebay for $250 U.S dollars and then found out the guy was a big time FAKE so i cancelled the deal. So i think you should wait till' it gets in the market. Expect the price to be about $900-$1000 U.S dollars. It will either come out by christmas( i have doubts about that though) or probably by first Q of 2006. I personaly dont want to wait that long, so im gettin' the samsung D600. ITs pretty cool. has more options than the V3x, and cheaper. Its price is around $500 U.S dollars. The only thing it doesnt have is the secondary VGA camera which i really dont care about.....

V3x will start mass production on Novenber '05, will hit the market on this X'mas.

Coming Soon??? This phone probably broke all records in waiting. Announced 1Q 2005 and we are still waiting for it. When is it coming out does anyone knows, maybe 1Q of 2006???

Your going to be waiting atleast 2 months, there is talk of releasing it around christmas, but most likly it will be in jan or feb of 2006

I heard Motorola is having V2 coming out. It is an update of Razr v3. The design will also be slightly changed – there will be a little bit different keyboard, and Motorola logo on the front panel will glow at an incoming call.
Motorola RAZR 2 will support iTunes music service, an expansion slot for TransFlash cards and a 1.3-megapixel camera.
And the price, 2800 USD LOL... get it when it comes out, guys

I got mine couriered to me today from Motorola’s PR company to demo for a review. It's a little bigger than my current V3 but it looks a heck of a lot better. The streamline design feels so much better in your hand. The PR company said the phone will roughly be $599 CDN on a 3 year contract to Rogers users. Pretty steep but you'll quickly forget how much you spent once you start using it. They weren’t able to give me a release date due to an early recall. The initially wanted it to come out in Nov. to compete with the Nokia 8801. I reviewed the 8801 last week and it’s also a sweet phone but for $1200 very hard to justify especially when the V3x has the more features.

Judging its specifications, this phone is really something. I only hope that the price would be reasonable.
I was also wondering whether the 2 mega pixel camera is equipped with an auto focus? You see, Sony Ericson's K750i and W800i are already equipped with this features and it really do make the 2 mega pixel camera feature very effective. Without auto focus, the 2 megapixel feature may not be very effective in producing a very good image.

hey bro, thanks for the info. guess what? i inquired about a razr v3x from an ebay seller and they're offering one for $350 U.S. pretty good deal huh? lol. it's pretty tempting to buy now but i really think i can wait a little while longer.

I've heard the V3x would be around $900-$1000 U.S dollars. thats kinda expensive. A good comparison to this phone would be the Samsung D600 because its going to be alot cheaper. Probably around $550-$650 U.S dollars. The V3x is said to be coming out around December, 2005. The Samsung D600 is already available in stores.Im sure the Samsung D600 will be good because its previous model "the Samsung D500"( which I personaly have) was a HIT! But obviously the V3x is better cuz it has more features. U pay more u get more :)

hey sup guys/gals, i'm really feeling the itch to buy this phone on ebay. i've found a few starting off $175+ U.S. i'm trying not to buy on impulse cuz i want to make sure i can use it here on the east coast u.s. i have tmobile too btw. anyone got their opinions? should i buy it or wait til it comes out? some of the sellers seem legitimate.

For all Canadian customers out there, guessing by the 400US$ ebay listed prices of the current V3 black models, the V3x would logically cost around the 600-800US$ range at 1st and prolly around 449US$ with a 3yr contract...

thanks brad for the hint but I doubt that the price will be this cheap, my guess is that Rogers will have this phone by 2nd Q of 2006 even if it got released by Nov. '05...if u look at the Moto website ull c that V3x isnt part of the future phones yet

The V3i is very similar to V3 but it will be black color with only minor improvements. The V3x is a 3G phone with a second VGA camera and it will be 4mm thicker than the V3 and V3i.
