@ Max

Basically the Software (cd installer / program) is already included in the package especially the motorola phonetools cd..depending on the cellular outlet where you would wish to purchase a phone you may check it if they are all in,,
Updating your phone is not a problem, and in this case, this time when you purchase a phone i know the cellular store already had updated its software for their customers just before they know it:)

Plus, updating your phone are in two ways, you could either update it through the PC, and the other one is through the network:)

Tip: Moto Razr V3x, & Nokia N70 are both 2megapixel handsets, both are having distinctive features, but i'll advice you to pay closer attention, focus on the image quality / clarity, the screen brightness & sharpness:) identify which one really & truly defines a 2-megapixel resolution & 265k colorscreen;)
you'll see...trust me...

always,
Rick

Hi dude, como esta? happy new year!:) sorry if i've responded late it just so happened that i cameback here just now,, hmm... to answer your question... well right now i haven't encountered any problem yet especially on my mobilephone v3x, maybe because i just didn't handle it roughly:) i take good care of it like what i've discussed here earlier.. about the videos, yup, it supports 3GP format and can be played on your desktop PC using "Quicktime Player" by apple..
About the complains, yeah, what else is new? with all due respect to all the brands out there, if you'll try to browse the gsm arena's site all the phone models have both good & bad comments, and it just so happened that more often plenty of bad comments clusters on the latter (recent) part of this forum:) Even the "talk of the town" Nokia N95 also have good & bad comments, so it really lies in your hands whether which phone you'll choose. I don't want to be subjective, just because my current handset is a V3X so i might as well advice you to get one.. consider your budget plus you may just drop by on any cellularphone outlets and ask a personnel to demonstrate a phone that suits your taste, but before you do that make sure before you leave your house you already had a tiny list (in mind) of the features you are definitely looking for a handset! yeah, coz wanting a phone is like wanting a lady (gf)! just be certain before you make the step! coz you & your phone will definitely be together night & day, 24hrs a day and 7 days a week:) until the end. got it?:)
About the software updates: yeah you may log on to the motorola site: http://www.hellomoto.com
*when you receive the phone, the software (cd), & micro USB cable for the PC are included, etc.)

Just before you purchase, Consider these things:
        1) Stunning design / style
        2) Distinctive features
        3) Satisfaction guarantee
        4) Best Value for money (i.e. Quantity - Quality Ratio:))

For the Final word, i could say that this phone is great... Here's a tip, you may choose from the 2nd Generation of Razr Blade Phones, The Razr 2 Class. There have been more improvements in eveything:)

        Always,
        Rick

one thing. i am going to pick it up from a mobile phone shop as my V3x was in for repair. mut the technician told me that he wasn't able to mend it. the screen was gone and im still hoping it is a ribbon problem although now i'm a bit confused about it. i am going to try to mend it at another shop. i'll try to keep ya posted. as it seems that trying to mend this phone is a headake.

In line with earlier posted discussion about "Proper Phone Use / Care" dated last 2007-12-20 18:58 Ricky PRQ7... I Would like to reiterate something:

"There is nothing in this world that is called an ugly phone, except there's only a careless phone user"...right?:-)

In my opinion i wouldent class the V3x as a V3 because it's just too big and i don't think it's as stylish as the other V3's even though they may not have as good features.

Guys, we all know that Motorola has proven it's greatness by defeating, or shall i say being the Best in image clarity / precision / accuracy / quality among others...specifically in the "2-Megapixel Category"...Try to compare other leading brands and see for yourself...in line with this, Motorola also has the Brightest Display among others, try to compare the V3x's display from other high-colored phones and see what im telling you..
Then, when it comes to sounds, nothing more can i ask for...love it...

Note: Nokia N96, 5MP Cam is also about to launch in year 2008, let's just wait and see which between the two will get the throne as far as greatness is concerned...mwah...
