You need to turn on camera mode or video camera mode -> go to option , and then choose "light on" , the light will come on

I have a v3x mobile, when i connect it 2 the usb , the computer says mobile is not detected???
i just bought it from couple of days , whenever i insert it in the usb , it either says mobile is not connected and set up can't take place...or it setsup and then within one minute it says processing failed !!!... i changed the cable , and tried more than one usb opening and more than one windows system.... and no results...i wanna know , do i hv 2 setup it everytime?? and wut the problem could be.... plzzz help

to the people who has the v3x, i bougth this phone today, and when i turn it on, i realize that the upper side of the keypad is less iluminated than the part of the numbers, is this normal?

Excelent Design , User Freindly , but but but ..... 1-BIG NOISE IS HEARED while having a call , 2- it Turns off Itself!!! 3- freezzz and hangzzzz so many times!

er..go to security,lock application and set ur password... think installing stuff voids ur warranty so get a mp3 with radio..

v3x is cool! i solve all the malfunction causes by our own lack of knowledge about this phone. 3 major problems= low life battery, making noise for outgoing calls and turnd off by itself. 1st, i found out that the batt prob is bcause of the Bluetooth, theres no sign wether btooth is on or off. so, by turning it off, the batt stay MUCH more longer. 2nd Noise 4 outgoing calls, theres a network speed in network setup, it was prestetted Medium which no other phone use any 'network setup' so change it to Fast. 3rd, the automatic off mode is bcause theres some program still running. to stay out of any system corruption, its off. wasnt it cool?!!!!!

i am nick, and im ehre to answer many questions ive read...
ok well ive had this phone twice now. i broke the first one cos i tripped over the charger while it was charging and i like borke the charger slot. that was my fault. but only 5 days ago i broke my second one, it wont turn on, the keypad lights up then goes off.
anyway to the questions:
a) no u probably cant install a radio because it doesnt have an antenna does it, well not for radio purposes.
b)yea u can install applications as long as u have a usb cable, of course u canload them from the internet on the phone..
c)the signal is fantastic on this phone, everywhere you go it generally has coverage of some kind.
d)no it cant view powerpoint excel stuff
e)yea u can apply passwords on everything
f)some idiot sed u cant rename stuff but thats a load of rubbish, you go into manage > rename.
g)the bluetooth works by going into manage > copy > via bluetooth. note: pressing move does the same thing excepts deletes the existing file off your phone.
h)if ur on three u can view some tv on the phone, but it does have real player installed on it anyway.
basically its a very good phone, screen is CRYSTAL clear, camera is very good in good light and the sound quality is fabulous thru the headphones. oh yea the memory card can go to 2gb, ignore the 'up to 512mb' in the specs.

phones are great for about 6 months. then look out. freezing up, turn them selves off, body gets trashed flakes and scratches. i have friends phones that re in the shop getting fixed at moment. good while new but wont last a 24 month plan

i haven't tried this phone yet but i was a previous owner of a razr v3black before i switched to nokia 6630. i'm still deciding now whether to get a v3x or an alcatel ot-t710 :P i was wonderin if it'd be possible to install applications like movie players and an ebook reader on a v3x :P besides from java apps. coz my N6630 is one souped up phone having a plethora of neat applications that i installed (well..considering it IS a smartphone :P).
