well i recently owned a motorola v635 and my baby cousin spoiled it. otherwise with motorola phones i got no problems. now i've seen the phone (v3x) and feel in love with it. i've read negative things about the v3x and plenty of my friends own one and they haven't complained. well one person said that if you don't know phone technology then it's your fault the phone would not be your desire and it will be faulty. well i'm buying the phone next 2 weeks i wanted to know if it would be a good decision, please help me.

Good phone but with all good things there are problems and im sure that they all have been posted since this isnt the first review of the phone. i have a quick question though...when i link up to my pc on the pc screen module of my phone there is a blue up arrow with a red x to the bottom right of the arrow, what does that mean? Also how do i get rid of the voice message waiting icon from my phone? when i get voice messages i never know because the icon is constantly there. thanks to all those that reply to me.

Juat bought the phone abt a week ago. So far its been working great. No major problems, except when transfering contacts from previous phone. Took a long time as I had to input info 1 at a time. May not b as user friendly compare to nokia but its one of the cheaper 3G phones around.

There were many questions abt where to plug in the headset. Its the same usb connection use for charging the phone. Yr V3x should include a usb headset. If it dosen't, there are aftermarket adaptors that will convert your regular headset to usb n it shdn't cost very much. hope this info helps..

got this phone today and it is a great phone.
The bluetooth only lasts 3 minutes then turns off automatically but that does not bother me as i only turn my bluetooth on when somebody wants to send me something anyway.
There is a picture in my gallery that i cannot delete and it is 0kb. not entirely why its there and why i can't delete it but i don't care this is a really good phone.

Plz peolpe stop expecting amazing features, connections and other things if you're not interested in Motorola find something better for you, because all designers even Nokia cant design 100% phones. Every company comes with their new things and others make them better than other. If you're interested in Motorola plz read cafully the options\settings thank you.

this v3x is so good that some users become the problem.. they become idiots not thinking that the phone is good enough for those who wish to have a 3g phone in a low low price.. this phone needs a user who is intelligent and understandable.. uSers who judge against this phone that the phone is turning on and off.. its your fault why it turn off.. you should have known why'd it turn off.. it turn off suddenly because you are careless thats why.. this phone is fast in some ways like in capturing images in its camera.. one click and its already there without reading its memory.. just analyze the phone well then you will know why it is good to have this phone.. be intelligent enough for a human being..

With this phone come alot of problems! i never choose this phone it was a present if you are looking into buying it i suggest that you read ALOT about it as once you have you may have a different opinion. it all depends on what you want the phone for?! problems with it consist of turning on and off as and when it wants deleting pictures, messages and contacts not asked.VERY bad battery vibrating alert makes sound so if it is on silent you still manage to hear it. speaker quality is rather bad aswell. it could be a great phone depending on what you want it for but if your wanting it for a day-to-day phone then i would suggest not!

nice desig but this phone is not a good phone
the volume for the mp3 sock the batery whith the music is only 5 hours a can't see my videos (i have put more than 5 diferent format and i still see nothing) i'm having problems to use the mobile phone tool (the mobile is not detected) the camera is very good but only in the first zoom
because if you put the second or fourth zoom the picture start to be bad. the reception is better than the v3 and the sound is to low for the exterior speaker.
if you are looking for something else than the comunication get will be better if you try other phone

i think its a nice phone, but its a little heavier than v3i? as well as the sound is not loud enough if ur going to listen to the mp3? but anyways i like it because of its style and very simple functions.

i've had my v3x for about 6 monthes now, and it has so many faults, i had to have it flashed about a mothe ago as the music player decided to corrupt itself, it has no infra redthe volume is way to quiet, the little camera image ajustment slider on the front dosent do anything anyway, it cost to much, i'm about to have it reflashed tommorow as the phone forgot my unlock code so now it wont even call out, it constantly makes this annoying sound whne it goes out of range which plays on full even when the bloody thing is on mute, which is realy annoying if ur in the middle of a lecture. the bluetooth is realy awkward and the 2 mega pixel camera is shite!!!!
i bought this phone for £250 and i've s[ent about £50 repairing it

i own one, love it, but it's not without it's flaws. 4 pics were corrupted less than a month after purchase (may 2006). I can't even delete them. a month ago my picture gallery crashed and corrupted 1/4 of my picture gallery. fortunately i was able to delete those. when i would play music, the battery lasts only 5 hours. the headphones are too quiet and completely destroyed by now(one side missing its rubbber ring, the other lost its mesh cover after i accidentally sat on it, leaving the drum exposed). the side volume controls suck: just slipping the handset into your pocket will easily lower the volume then its impossible to bring it back up sometimes it wont even respond or lowers it even more. twice the blue LED light strip pulsated even when the phone wasn't connected to anything(fixable by simply turning the phone off and on again), the back speaker's perforated cover has two holes, the keypad i starting to show wear and my phone's matte black rubber-like cover (above the LED strip is peeling back and revealing the black plastic case underneath.
