This phone is fantastic, the camera quality is suberb and the menus are extemely easy to navigate. None of its competitors: Nokia's 7200/6230, samsung's E700/E710, sony ericssons z600 etc don't even come close. if you want a good quality flip one with a decent camera and bluetooth then this is the phone for you!

ive had my v525 since december and pleased with it, but texting is awkward and prefer my old Timeport 250 for getting around menus quickly.
Yes it can be unlocked, I got my unlocked for £8 from some company in the us,
btw the big ugly red Vodafone logo on the lid will come off if you gently rub it with a 2 pence coin, it wont scratch the phone. :o)

I just got my v525 and love it so far. I bought it second hand for use in the US. Only thing, the seller on eBay didn't tell me that he somehow managed to delete the games and broke the CDrom that came with it. (he got a negative rating from me) My question is does anyone know how I can get the software to reload on my phone? Motorola's customer service in the US won't help because it is a UK phone...And they wont give me a toll free to call UK for help...Anyway..any input will be appreciated

This phone is packed with lots of features but I was dissapointed in it because of its interface. The menu is not very colourful and graphic like the Samsung E700. The menu setup also isnt very nice, the button functions are back to front compared to Sony Ericsson, Samsung & Nokia. This just isnt a very user friendly phone.

Nice phone, only problem for me compared to my previous Nokia, is that it doesn't hold many sms's and that there is no calender reminders!!!

its a great phone, for the price and I think the resolution is fantastic.. so too is the monopoloy game. the speaker phone is brilliant. This phone is such an upgrade from the 7250 nokia that I lost(no fm radio but who cares) the bluetooth usb port allows another dimension yet to be totally explored by me - the photos look good on the pc too. But if I want fantastic photos with sharp digital effects...I grab my digital camera..Worth its money, no need to waste your hard earned cash on any other phone at this stage...unless you want to wait 6 mths...

Hi Dan, to send ringtones and pics u go to the pic u want to send press the upper key (menu) and select copy and track down the other bluetooth unit u want. Keep in mind if it´s to another Motorola it has to have the "find me" option selected for u to track it down. U only have to do this once because after it´s on your bluetooth list u can send directly and the other bluetooth just has to accept the transfer. Take a look at the V600 opinion section, the phones are practically the same...
Take care
