i was wondering if on the v525 you can get the same menus and functions on v500 and vodaphone live or do vodaphone live replace the oringnal menu and functions? If so is vodaphone live better the the oringnal v500 menu anf functions?

      to LaPop
no the menu on V500 and V525 are different even the icons are different but you can always flash and flex your phone to get the original icon as in V500, but you'll lose all the vodaphone stuff

Just one question about this phone : is the ringtones really loud?
And I think the price is quite low compared to other motorola clamshells phone (V878, V690, V600)

The V525 is better then the GX10i and the camera is sharper also, where as the Sharp GX10i frames. The navigation is fairly easy not too much harder then the Nokiá's, this is my first ventre from Nokia, and I dont mind this phone, is quite good actually.

Hei,I am a Nokia and former Ericsson user and I was wondering about the Motorola menu.Is it navigation-friendly as Nokia and SonyEricsson. What about the screen and colours, are they comparable to the Samsung mobile phones.Ringtones...does Motorola still have those annoying ringtones or have they changed? Can you save SMS on the phone memory as you can with Nokia and SonyEricsson phones?
Hope of getting some answers from users of the phone!!! = )

the difference between V500 and V525 is the networks V500 is on Orange and V525 offers Vodafone Live which has gr8 menus and gr8 downloads.

I purchased on of these phones on Vodafone Live Australia. Best phone I have ever owned. Easy to navigate menus, great ring tones, fun games and the ability to download more and more. Could have done with a slightly larger memory, but I still love it. The camera takes excellent photos and I love having the 4 time digital zoom and delay timer. The inbuilt handsfree speaker phone is heaps better than the nokias and it works even when you have the phone closed. How good is that??

Don't waste time on anything else.

first of all what is Vodafone life?
do you need a special sim card for that?
does de phone work with a mobistar simcard? ( belgium )
And what's the difference bewteen the v500 and the v525? This question is asked many times, but nobody has answered it :(

the most important question is that one about vodaphone, please answer it ;)

About reliability - I dropped this phone in the sink for just a few seconds and the inner display stopped working. Eerything else is OK. Have in mind - it's not waterproof!
