Without an internal modem it's completely useless for me! I can live without IR but not without the modem... I wanted a new camera, Bluetooth phone to pair up with my iPAQ h2210 so I could be connected on the go... But without internal modem what the hell would I do?! After waiting so much, I will have to look for new phones...... Can anyone prove me wrong? Please tell me it does have... PLEASE!!! And if not, recommend me a phone this good that will work on GSM 850 Mhz, that BTW, is very limited!

I Love my V600! It's great! I only have 2 gripes (1) The manual isn't that wonderful, (2) How can I get MP3 ringtones on it? Is it possible with a data cable? Can somebody please help me? :)

I sort of cheated. I work for O2 and got it for free. I think the cost on the high street is around GBP 120 at the most. It does have ITAP but no RF reception. The Bluetooth headset can be a bit of a pain to pair with the handset, and the instruction manual is next to useless. The phone doesn't have an internal modem and no infra-red. Correct me if I'm wrong but I think this is aimed more at the consumer market. Motorola have forgone things like an internal modem and infra-red because the average user doesn't really need them. Check out the 'Event lights' on the outer front cover. It's a great phone.

Oh and by the way, Motorola rules. It is the Mercedes Benz of mobile phones, by all means I do not hate Nokia but Nokia and Motorola had and still have a rivalry.

BTW, how does Bluetooth work? Does it has an internal modem? iTAP? RF Reception? Thanks, in advance.. Please do me the favor!!! BYE!

Exactly what is your point DJ?
My V600 arrived today, bundled with a free Bluetooth headset, on a 400 minute package from O2. The build quality is great, it has a nice weight in your hand, and feels expensive. The MP3 ringtones are fantastic quality. My only gripe is that you have to buy the data cable separately. You can always transfer your MP3s over Bluetooth though (I did it from an SE P900. So don't let anybody tell you it can't be done!).

Thank you for your recent correspondence with Motorola.
Regarding your question, the v600 will be available on the third week of January, the only service provider will be AT&T.
Regarding the price, I recommend you to contact AT&T at 1-800-888-7600.

Writing SMS messages is a joy using the new ITAP technology. There is a message length counter at the top of the screen, so you can keep an eye on the length of your messages.
The new ITAP technology remembers your most commonly used words and attempts to guess what words you are trying to type. E.G. if you use the word Experiment a lot when typing your text messages, you will find that the word will either come up first in your list of predicted words to use or it will automatically be displayed on screen when you type for example, ex. I believe that this version of predictive text technology is the best available anywhere! (better than T9)

The V300 is way not better than this V600. For instance, the Mot V600 has a zoom of 4x, 5Mb of Memory (same as v300), can download videos, is smaller and lighter, changeable covers...
