Well, after 2 years my moto600 has kicked the bucket! It did pretty well, taking a few nasty falls and finding itself in the sand at beach, so i guess to get 2 years prob free was good.

well i'm planing to buy this cell phone, i can tell that is very good because i have proved it, and other thing, people before you are gonna say or publish something please think about it because some things you publish are so stupid that other people can get lost, there are some things that make others not want to buy some phones because they freak out when they read these stupid things some ppl say. :) ciao!!!

This is the worst phone ever made! I have had it changed 6 times. It does all strange things, but never works. So if you have one like I did i think you should sell it for spare parts.

I bought this unlocked in Germany and put my 02 Genion Home card into it. It was annoying from the beginning with total drop out in areas where other phones worked. When I moved back to the US, I put in a prepaid T-Mobile card and used it for a while before I went Blackberry. Now, after a year of consistantly being plugged in, it's totally dead. No signal, nothing. It was garbage to begin with and now is on it's way to the garbage. I am really going to enjoy taking the 5 pound sledge hammer to this. No more Motorola...ever.

The phone blows. Pretty much the same as all the other complaints including the fact that it gets viruses and does some strange things. I had to steal my boyfriends phone to keep in touch.

This phone stinks. it works for about 6 months and then it starts going really wrong. It is constantly crashing ie. the screen goes white and you have to take the battery out to get a response and the battery only lasts about 2 days. i will never by annother motorola.

Beautifully made phone but full of silly little faults and problems, i had 4 replacements within the first year, good old insurance is needed with this handset. Camera is the usual thing that packs in first, then the phone can lock up at any time, only way to reset is by removing battery.

what happens to deleted sms on the v600? are they still stored somewhere on the sim or the internal memory? also under "data volumes" in recent calls menu, there is a "total data transferred". what does this refer to and if you "copy text" from this what is actuall being copied/happening?

okay stop saying that it only holds 20 sms... it holds way more.. right now i have 60 something in my inbox. yes it is slippy but it does hold up. here in florida during the 2004 hurricanes i was tryin to get reception on the roof... (no company had reception) and dropped it. what happend to the casing? two miniture scratches. coming from work i dropped it out of my pocket and stepped on it (180lbs) with full weight and it did nothing. no moto does vibe and ring at the same time, they do vibe then ring. reception is great. 1/2 the phones that came out of this were faulty. if u are lucky to get a good one, hold on to it.

Motorola v600 is a very smart an classy looking phone, the lights on the front are well cool and a lot of people have been sayin it only stores 20 msgs...well i dont know which motorola v600 you lot have or had but by gods honest truth my phone stored over 100 msgs shared between inbox ,outbox, drafts and quick notes...however the phone has a lot of bad points...First of all the coating/case of the phone (or whatever you wana call it)is VERY slippy resulting in the phone being dropped numerous times causing the phone to get a number of faults!
The memory on the phone is really small resulting in 3 mp3's being stored on the phone if your lucky (this is based on having alot of pictures stored on phone as well). The problem is that it has so many crap ringtones already on the phone which take up most of the memory and the worst thing is that they have locks on them which means they can't be deleted to free extra space.
The buttons on the side of the phone are a pain because if the phone is in your pocket the volume button gets pressed/profile button gets pressed/smartkey gets pressed resulting in a lot of the phone settings bein all messed up to how it was previously set.
The camera quality isn't bad at all but ive seen betta.
The phone can play video's but the dumb thing is that it can't make them, only receive.
When writing a text message the number '1' key (abc) is a popular key to press when writing a text but the problem is that its so close to the cancel key (hang up phone key) that sometimes your finger slips on to it an cancel's the whole message and unlike the old nokia's it doesnt save the message ready to complete the message...the WHOLE message is CLEARED!
At the end of the day,its up to you if you want to buy the phone but i just thought i'd warn you and save you money on buying something that isn't really worth it...there's too many bad points!!!

Sure when I bought this phone it was new and shiney and looked terrific on face value!

BUT This has got to be the most horrific phone I've ever had! I have had more reception issues in one week than I have had with my old brick sized Sprint freebie in 4 years! Going from full bars to none while standing in the same spot!

I should have known after returning it to the store from where I got my service *twice* and then Motorola once for it freezing up, screen turning white, screen glitches. Outer display glitches and garbled graphics and going to Browser mode when dialing a number!

And little annoyances like the volume buttons on the outside of the flip phone is a constant burden while in my pocket, it changes ring modes most often to silent!

High blood pressure was developed while on conference/business calls and the phone drops signal several times when I am not moving and in the middle of my service area!

                                    Picture quality is sub-par!

HORRIBLE PHONE! I WISH I NEVER CHOSE IT!

I have the phone for like 5 months. It's a really good phone and looks nice. But how do you make it hold more than 20 text messages?? please answer! thanks

I got bored of this phone within a month. It can play videos but it cannot create them. It's not user friendly, has no radio, and the reception is very poor. Give me a Nokia any day.
