Hi there i bought a Motorola v878 about a month ago everything is functioning quite good so far the only problems i have with the phone is that i cannot connect to the internet why is that? I live in Canada by the way. Also why doesn't it have bluetooth technology? and why can't u change the 24 hour clock to a 12 hour clock i think consumers should be allowed those options. Personally i think this phone is not bad but the resolution can be better theres so many things this phone could do better.

WOW! I'm glad I saw this site becuase I was planning to buy the V878! All this comments definitely changed my mind! I will buy the GX22 which I was debating between the V878 and the Sharp GX22! This is a great site and I will frequent this site often.

WHOA!!!!!!! I didn't know this many people got the same problem... I'm very frusterated at the screen blanking out and soon the phone cease to function. I tried to get a refund or have it repaired but I was told by the dealer that they cannot do anything for this model. I don't know where to send for repair, and is it worth sending it in for repair!?!?!? This is a heap of junk and I'm sorry for myself that I didn't read this forum before I bought this phone... I should have bought a nokia or something....

I'm work for a dealer for a cellular phone company and I'm really tired of people complaining and bringing back unlocked phones, unlocked phone do not carry a warranty and "all purchase are final, no return, refund or exchanges" People are angry that the phone doesn't even last one week and we cannot replace or refund! It's giving me a headache and so much complaint with hostile customers. I wish my boss would take this phone off our showcase.........

I think the "G" means that the phone is "GPRS" ready. Did you read the manual?

This is the worst phone I have ever purhcased in my life! I can't believe the poor workmanship and performance. I really regret buying this model. I should have bought a Sharp or Nokia.. This is one terrible phone! I just wasted my money on something I can't use (see the screen) I can't tell where I'm calling and I only had it for 20 days! Don't buy this phone to all of you! If you're thinking about buying it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Suddenly the screen blanks out. There are so many problems with the battery, i faced one of the most in the first week itself. In the first week, automatically, my mobile turned off.., went to authorized dealer and he did something., and made it fine. After two more months, it started to turn off suddenly, while in call. It happened so many times. Recently, the external display got some problems., Anyways, It is the worst model i had ever seen.

I didn't know this many people had problem with this phone. I can't completely use the screen, it's blank and camera is useless. I can't believe this many defective units are out there. Motorola should recall and give back the money to us and let us choose another model. pissed off in New York

This is truely a piece of JUNK! I've wasted my money on a piece of JUNK! I strongly suggest that no one buys this model! you'll be sorry.........
