I am on my third V980 due to them all being faulty and this one is going back tomorrow!
Absolutely terrible.
Screen goes blank, lines come across it, it switches off, crackles during calls, battery is useless, camera doesnt always work, get a Nokia!

DONT take any notice of those who say this phone is crap it is not. It works perfectly, to download mp3s and pics on to this phone or vice versa u need the "motorola pc suite" which u have to buy if yr phone doesnot already come with it as part of the package. With this you can transfer anything between phone and computer either way. I transfer all my photos to the computer and print them out, i also have around 20 mp3s already on my phone at present. The other thing which you may need to do is buy a transflash memory card my phone came with a 32mb card already installed but i had already a 256mb transflash memory card from my old motorola phone. You can buy these cards from Amazon.co.uk mine cost £27.50. The moral of the story is this phone works perfectly if you have the software required to upload and download. Hope this answers some of the questions asked about mp3 transfers ect

Motorola V980, give me a nokia any day. Difficult to put games on, completely crap battery (38HRS MAX)vodafone live keeps disconnecting, no bluetooth or infrared ( call it a modern phone!!) anyone who wants one make sure you can afford to bin it and buy a decent mobile!! I'm sure you will be dissapointed...Regards...Steve.

I don't know how come so many people have so many problems with the phone, i have had no problems with mp3's on the phone as mp3's OR setting them as ringtones. When i bought the phone u get motorola mobile tools with it and you DONT need to use a digital camera memory card to put mp3's on it either, you just plugin in the cable that comes with the phone and install the software wich COMES with the phone. Load the program and choose multimedia studio and voila you have picture transfere mms transfere and my goodness audio transfere. And thats it. Now if you have a the sim free version then maybe the mp3's are disabled as ringtones, well thats easy enough to fix, download LeaderGL Flex editor and you can enable this. All in all i have had no problems with this phone, the only think is that the program that transferes the mp3's does convert the mp3 down to 64kbs but obviously for space reasons, if u want a high quality mp3 player then you wouldn't use a mobile phone, go and get an ipod.

i bought this phone n alls i wanna do wiv it is bin it, it cost me £200 n its bin nout but rubbish plp if i were u i wudlnt buy it is a gd phone if it wrked properly !!!

the answer to the thing that every one keeps asking... no it doesnt have bluetooth. and the way to get the mp3 files onto your phone is to put your memory card into a digital camera connect the camera to the pc/laptop via the USB port and put the mp3, mpeg, jpeg etc files on through that. the reason why it says on most peoples phones files to big is because you dont have a memory card and seeing as the phones internal spare memory is about 2mb thats impossible to be able to put a mp3 file onto it as the average song is about 4.5mb. i hope this would help a lot of people with there questions.personally its a quality fone.

Can someone please tell me how to put mp3 music from my pc to my phone. When i try to dod with the usb cable I was given with the phone, its says that the file is too large! COntact me at tiarnancrowe@hotmail.com please if you could tell me how to do it

What a plesant look in shape but no bluetooth
no software driver to enable me download and
upload pix, mp3 etc. that makes me regret of buying it.

This phone doesn't have BT.
The easiest way to pass mp3 and other files is throught the memory card, I put it on a camera and then connect the cam to the PC. It's an alternative way but very easy!

THE PHONE IS A BOMB, i can't imagine how that came about? But i know it is what it is.If i had the money to get that V980 i would and i will. My friend makes a good deal out of that phone. I tell you. Please let me know how much it costs. thanks.

hi i think i have found a way to get pictures and mp3's on to the fone without using the software just put ur memory card into ur memory card adapter and plug it into ur computer using a plug u can buy in camera shops le me no if this helps!
