This is my second Motorola fone - my previous one V525 was continually switching off and became unusable. My V980 keeps losing signal strength - missing calls - missing texts - half the time I cant download stuff as the signal keeps breaking. Picture keeps disappearing. Battery dies in less than a day and I just send a couple of texts a day usually. I am going back to Nokia I think. 2 bad Motorolas is more than coincidence.

me too when i download mp3 on the phone it say the carrier restricted to open the file, pls contact me if you can play mp3 on your phone, because the wav file is too large and the amr doesnot had a good sound

my fone cuts off every few minutes when in a fone call....is this a problem with ne1 else cus its rele starting 2annoy me..i feel like hitting some1 let alone beating them, neway if u can help post something up or i might kill you...hu knows????

Hi I have the motorola v980 and i cant for the life of me work out how to put mp3 music on2 it. Can any one help, with a very simple method (im not to good with technology!)?! I would be really grateful :)

The phone is ok, but i want to know if it is possible to transfer data to a PC.I've tried using USB cable but nothing seems to be working. Anyone who managed to succeed please help me.

this phone is really bad, I have one and I have had nothing but problems since I got, it, I get lines accross the screen, the battery over heats alot, sometimes in video call, there is a green block on the screen, even once, the outside LCD screen went black no image at all. I have had about several replacements from the phone shop and vodafone, and there is nothing else they can do.

does anyone know how to change the background skins . this option seems to be blocked on my vodafone v980 it is stuck on red . is there a download to fix this

hiya how do you put the memory card into the pc??? i can get it out the phone but i dont know how to put it in the pc?? what do u do after that aswell??? please help

not 2 mention the software problem that causes the battery to run dead within a day (2 at the most); get the software update so the fone wont keep switching between UMTS and GSM network..

what are you guys talkin about. It's a GREAT phone i bought it for 200 it support mp3 and mpeg4 and all that. You just need to put the memory card in ur pc and than you can put mp3 and stuf on it. the camera is perfect too and it's very sharp its not much better then the d500. so stop your wining and by this phone

Vodafone have told me that you can't transfer file from your PC onto the phone, the only way to get music onto the phone is to download them from from vodafone live!

I want to buy a the moto v980 but would like someone that knows the phone to compare it with another in terms of size coz i here it's very big.[And i don't really large phones].
And since it doesn't have infra red and bluetooth, hat then does it have?
What is the actual price for the phone?
How long is the video recording and ideo calling?
I would an answer from someone that has used the phone for quite some time and know well about the phone.

I have found this phone excellent, there have been no bttery issues for p'raps its becauze I am "old" (40) and don't use it 24/7! but I am on contract so use it for all my free minutes. My only crticism is the size - too big! I have had a sharp GX10 and a Sagem before so this is a bit like a brick! Overall I am very happy with this phone!

it's a junk!!! my camera quality is garbage and the video call only works for 7 minutes! the memory is 2 little, the keys are 2 rough, the design is a little uncomfy and the price is huge!!!! i am so sad i choosed this instead of Nokia 6230i...

how do i get onto the internet to downoad music and stuff? cuz whenever i try to get on to the internet it says "network not available" :( HELP ME!!!
