@ Kerrie
Since u said u did all the research be4 u buy this phone, u should know tht this phone doesnt support mp3 ringtones. So, what the point of complaining of some feature tht u know the phone dont have when u already knwo it in the first place? N, may i know what is ur 'older' phone model? Is it as good looking as this one with the same or lower price?

To Allen Carter ("very impressive mobi"
I do not agree with your comment about people who are dissing this phone being immature. I researched this phone before i got it, i only got it coz its cute looking but i was STILL extremeley dissapointed by the sound quality. As i said in a previous comment its so awfull its painful to listen to. This should not be the case on ANY phone, no matter how cheap. Its the worst phone i've ever had and i hate it, i've actually started using my old one again, which has mp3 ringtones despite the fact its older. explain that to me eh? this is basically a childrens phone.

I do think the ppl that have bought this mobile the (W220) gave this phone nagative comment's on hee are obviously young and immature and have not researched the mobile properly to fit there requirements. If they read the comments on here, they will understand that the whole point of everyone give's this mobile positive comment's because it does not have MP3 ringtones, camera and ect and still looks incredibly stylish and has a great solid feel.

The reason why most some of the younger generation today buys an expensive mobile with all of the updated features is because the basic mobile phones with none of those flashy features look abvously aload of cheap c**P. But finally there is a mobile with none of those flashy features like mp3 and camera and still looks like a very stylish mobile.

This phone is simply superb, with a great and unique design for its value. Its just a basic mobile without all the rubbish.

Well motorola have finally got it right and i do hope others will follow in the near future.

Please... the phone is cute. Unless... you open it! The screen is a joke. Never seen anything smaller, low res, that bulky part under the numbers? What's that? Do your self a big favor and buy a v191. Mp3 ringtone, charges through the USB cable directly from the pc, 10 mb and the phone is beautiful. FM radio? Please... enough already.

this one is for the nameless guy below me. if you need upgrading i think first you need to be upgraded. you will not leave a comment on this model, instead you'll buy a high end model and get yourself upgraded. Motorola w220 is for the budget conscious people also for the people who don’t like to have useless features on their mobiles and unwanted upgrades.

I bought this phone one week ago.
In his price class this phone is outstanding. I don't think you find better, nicer for this price.
Don't expect this phone to be amazing: taking pictures or putting music on it is not possible. But who cares? I got a camcorder, don't need a useless cam on a phone.
Good receiving. You hear the people very clear. You can type sms fast enough. And a phone memory of 600. THIS was enough for my so I'm happy with my phone.
-the battery goes only 5days with normal use, I thought it would stand longer (if using the radio-something you only do in the beginning- it will even be shorter)

This handset does not have any network reception problems and matches standards of a today’s mobile phone; speaker’s volume is loud enough for conversation outdoors. C168 has polyphonic ring tone which is 32-tone, it is loud enough for most situations, but mp3 support is missing. You will have to use midi ring tones, which are easy to find on the web. Volume of tunes on this phone is enormously high owing to a separate loudspeaker, thus it would make sense not to set volume to maximum while in a quiet room. Vibrating alert strength is a bit above average.

this phone is a basic one and priced accordingly. people are expecting high-tech out of it....camera, bluetooth, infrared port, usb....blah!blah! if you need all these features....why don't you go for the one that has these features and costs 3 times the price. all you wanna pay peanuts and want to have an elephant. how crazy. why don't these guys grow up and stop useless comments.
Motorola w220 is an excellent phone with good sound quality and superb battery life. it way better than low end Nokia phones. i am passing this comment because i do change phone often and i can make out the difference between each models.

hey there, this phone looks stlyish with it's sleek design. But ,it doesnt have any basic features these days such as infared or bluetooth .Another thing is that it's ringtone is merely out of date . i give this phone a rating of 3 out of 10 .

Do NOT get this phone, it's totally crap. the only good thing about it is that it looks good. The sound actually hurts my ears it's such bad quality. no mp3 ringtones which is crap all phones have that these days. no usb which makes this phone basically useless. all it does it text and make calls.
