I'm a proud owner of one XOOM 2 and also one Razr HD.
But here a catch.
I dont know WHY did not provide any support for voice nor SMS over 3G.
It's just insane.
The tablet is stable, fast and have lots of internal storage.
Its robust but also heavy because of its aluminum chassis.
I believe its the only one tablet with IR port, unfortunately I coulndt find any FREE software for IR Remote.
Its a little bit hard to find a cover for XOOM 2 but I got one fold-able and twist-able.
I'm NOT a Motorola fan but I do have to admit.
I'm very happy and proud of my XOOM 2 and Razr HD.
If you want accessories like cover cases, do not by Motorola, but if you want cost/benefit, go for it.

the original xoom use tegra 2 SoC while xoom 2 use omap 4430 they are on the same level except omap 4430 have NEON support and better memory bandwith so at least it give better perfomance with 1080 accelerated video than tegra 2 on the first xoom

i bought this phone last month and the size is kinda awkward so i gave it to the beggar for some charity works.........well life is more meaningful if you learn how to share.......

give the card slot in a bit heavy tablet anyday.
Motorola is loosing the plot with the zoom 2.

They simply overclocked the processor.
You could just root the original xoom and overclock it yourself to 1.2/1.4 which would make it better than xoom 2 thanks to the original xooms micro sd support

Yes you can edit docs, quick office pro pre-installed.
Storage isnt great but thats why theyve introduced motocast. I can play all the content on my 3tb comp at home through wifi .

i became an Moto fan after Motoralla Defy.which im using still and fr chirsmas i bough xoom 2.u knw why bcz i thnk there devices much more durable than any other device i ever used.Smooth screen.goood for gaming highly recommented.
