Jimmy, 12 Feb 2012I just bought the phone on ebay seller: wifigadget88.
The... morei have bought one of these from hong kong - its the real deal but doesn't have google play and has some shop4apps icon which has a lot of chinese apps and doesn't seem to recognise any other kind of apps. i am also not sure how to get google play downloaded to the phone. is there anyway to get rid of the chinese writing from the weather widget.
any help would be appreciated

Davo, 03 Apr 2012Its not a matter of which applications but more like which ... moreI have this phone and had to change the default store settings to SD card before installing apps and now i have over 15 apps running from the SD and over 20Mb free. Look for "force apps to SD in gingerbread" for answers, no root needed.

This phone is NOT available in Egypt. The single-sim version (Fire XT 530) is available at mobile shop for LE 1499)

The... moreHi Jimmy, I've read you bought it from wifigadget88 seller on ebay and it's working well. I'd like to know if you are pretty sure it supports 850/2100Mhz.
Because I've read others it all depends which region it comes from, maybe 850/2100Mhz OR 900/2100Mhz. By the way, I'm talking about HSDPA network 3G.
