it's said that motorola announces the motoroi for the USA at CTIA. cause SK and china already have theirs and USA gets it, it's gonna be europe-confirmed too, maybe.
- but that's a big maybe.. there's nothing official yet

Androbaksa, 11 Mar 2010This phone has 600 MHz CPU, that makes the high resolution ... moredo you have a motoroi? I have had one for almost a month now and i can tell you that even though it would be great to have a 1ghz cpu, it is sufficient since multimedia is greatly assisted by the gpu. For all the haters, there are some issues I have had but it has never been hardware related, this is a great phone with an incredible camera, and although it doesnt have a front facing cam for video calls, I almost never use iy, and if I do i always have my samsung omnia amoled which has an 800mhz cpu. I also find the samsung amoled to be far less responsive. The motoroi is incredibly responsive, and the touch screen is fantastic.

I don't know why they did not put a secondary camera for video calls... A few strange experiences,,, dialing numbers by itself (once),,, strange messages received,(once),, and yes slower than I expected, but enough speed.

@foneseeker
It was released in February. In Korea.
From what I've seen, I expecting to hear about a US release on March 29. But we'll see . . .

This phone has 600 MHz CPU, that makes the high resolution (854x480) almost too slow to use. Also playback of HD video over HDMI is stuttering. Compared with other phones with 1GHz snapdragon CPU, this one is too slow.

Phone has great specs, especially since its hard to find an android with a decent camera. Too bad this phone is butt ugly though. Like honestly what the hell was motorola thinking with this design? I'd go further into explaining why I think this phone's design is horrendous but there's way too many factors to divulge.

If you go to the Motorola site for this phone it DOES NOT have 8gigs of internal memory, it has 150mb of user avaliable internal memory, a huge disapointment!!! Unless they revamp this phone for it's U.S. release we will be let down once again by android phones. How hard is it to actually put 8gigs of internal memory in a smart phone when micro sdcards can handle up to 16gigs and soon 32gigs????
