is this handset uses gorilla glass? or perhaps scratch proof?, i have mine but never thought of this, my 2yrs old zn5 doesnt have any scratches one thing i really like..

Actually, ZN5 and VE66 are identical-only difference worth mentioning is battery life...
I had both...very lovely phones:-)

Hi everybody! I want to know what are the differences between 05R firmware and 0ER or 0DR which as i know are newer. Currently my phone runs on 05R and must say i`m not completely satisfied with it and would like to know if other firmwares could give me a better experience when using ZN5. Those of you who have used other firmwares besides 05R, like 0DR and especially 0ER (latest official) by flashing your phone or by default, please give me an answer. I am interested in differences like performance, speed, photo\music\call quality, stability, battery life and other aspects. Thanks a lot!

exellent phone
i'm used it since dec 2008 till now
gorilla glass display is brilliant
camera is cool.. just open the cover lens and ready to take a pic ," review time" to take pic can set to: none seconds, 2 seconds, 4 seconds, 6 seconds with autosafe to memory card or phone storage.
design is nice .. saund is good
best in the class ..

Please suggest is it wise to mod the gadget with available firmwire in the various sites as mentioned here? Also, do ZN5 supports thrid party software to play music, because whenever I listen the music the inbuild player plays all the mp3 files whether it is ringtones or songs which (ringtones in between songs) irritates me a lot. I mean to say is there any other option to play music directly i.e. Sony Ericsson without making playlist. As making a playlist in this device is very lengthy process while in Sony Ericsson it is easy you just click on the option to to playlist make new playlist select the folder where your songs are stored and enjoy the music. Please suggest.

I just buy this fabulous device six days ago and I am really satisfied with this. But I want to have an impressive music player for my ZN5. Do any one help me that where can I get this and how to install in this device. Also, I had E8 earlier but it didn't support any 3rd party software. Please help.

hi i had this phone 1 years ago and i sold it because its os is linux and there is barely software for it but it has java j2me photo quality is good but not good as n82 but in night zn5 is head and shoulder above the other 5 megapixels phones its speed is good and its sound as well but it doesnt support office or pdf maybe some firmwares does but i needed more software and bigger screen

Im using Sony Ericsson k800i it has a xenon flash too but im not satisfy.. i want a powerful camera! i want this phone since im using two phones.. Nokia e90 and Sony Ericsson k800i.. Does the Motorola Zn5 has a powerful camera? but the OS is Linux.. many reviews i read that the disadvantge of this phone is always hangging and very slow.. is it true? help me.. i can't decide..

well if there is anyone who doubts the camera on this hadnset let me anser that question for you.
in my office from my desk the fire exit sign is 230meters away.
the sign board is 15 inches wide and same in the height
i used a ss galaxy s which my boss uses, Nokia N82 from a friend and my zn5
other two mobiles have bigger screen to see the picture larger as compared to zn5
however when we zoomed in to the pic on zn5 we were able to read the exit sign board clearly where in on the other handsets it apeared vague after we zoomed in
that was just the first part
second time we tried to take a snap of a butterfly while it was in mid air flapping the wings
galaxy s failed severly when we saw the image as it showed that butterfly had 3-4 wings
nokia however was satisfactory as it matched the clearity of ZN5 and both the pics were almost same clear
but again when we zoomed in to the pick to 100% on zn5 we were also able to see the antenas of that fly while nokia again made the pic blurry
this phone has a powerful camera
