Click on the camera button and it will fire up almost immediately. Also, the shot-to-shot times are as fast as any digital camera, not spending too much time for post-processing.

Shot to shot is a bit longer, probably around 5~8 secs.
Such is my "subjective" experience. If any other user has any other findings, kindly share with us.

These are true camera specifications which are not mentioned in camera-phone specification sheets, and which make or break the usability of the phone as a backup camera.
I am going to buy the ZN5 since I do not carry my dSLR everywhere, but I do carry my cellphone. Also I would use it as a replacement for my standalone old MP3 player since it would stop the player when I received a phone call.

Well we h... moreHe meant that the plastic Carl Zeiss lens on the ZN5 have no difference in photo quality when compared to the glass ones on the NSeries phones. It is already proven that the ZN5 can match up to even the N82. I'm not saying that both are equal in every way, but the Zn5 is a worthy competitor to any 5 MP camera phone out there.

Nokia 6220 classic has:
No High Speed Camera Startup.
No Superfast shot-to-shot times.
No Panorama Photo stitching Mode built in.
No Crystal Talk.
No "Other stuff that Motorola ZN5 has!"

GTX, 21 Jan 2009i know this! just prooving to the guy with the tops GTX then go buy this phone and surely you'll regret that is if you're sophisticated... people who need a reliable smart phone should not turn to Linux!!! What is Mac, Palm pre, Win Mo or Symbian S60 OS for...? those are commercial and top performing platforms... if you need a Kodak BRANDED camera with PLASTIC Karl Zeiss lens then get the ZN5... but if you want more than superb camera you decide for your self!!!
