It's official, Motorola ZN5 is the king of cameraphones! It was a tough call against the 8mp monster Samsung Innov8, but the ZN5 won because of its phone features! Thanks CrystalTalk!

While me ... morewow. nice experience regarding crystal talk technology. i hope moto pushed the advertising to the limit as this could be a decisive factor in buying a phone. anyway, i really want to buy this phone but it costs around 19,000 pesos in Rob Pioneer and 18,300 in SM Southmall Las Piñas. I could have bought this over my n82 or my previous phone which is k850i if it had been released earlier.

anyway, the menu lags can EASILY be fixed by changing the cpu clock of zn5. this method is popular to moto modders as zn5 is also using JUIX(motomagx OS).

moto may be limiting the speed of the cpu so your battery will last longer. i'm impressed with the modders of the unpopular ROKR E2 where they made an option so you can switch from different cpu clocks. i hope zn5 modders could do the same. ;)

While me and my classmates are visiting a big mall (SM Megamall in the Philippines - Google it) to witness my other comrades'efforts in the Teenpreneur Entrepreneurship Challenge wherein they sell nice bags made of recycled paper (tough and stylish-considering these were made by poor people who make a living), my mom called me to confirm if our meeting about our Physics Investigative Project is already done. I was already at a really noisy environment at that time - more than 20 schools and universities competed for entrepreneurship supremacy along with thousands of consumers flooding the stalls. She was in the church, and she didn't notice me that I was in such an event; she thought that I was still in school! We just talked for some time to confirm that I was in the mall and she was again surprised as she didn't hear any noise at all. I was using the E8 and she used an iPhone at that time. She really couldn't believe that I was already in there...good times.

                  hi guyz...at last i got my zn5
but i am disappointed with a few things

1-although it has a 500 MHz processor,it lags very much, specially in message inbox while scrolling through the message list it lags and also during message writing if we have to erase the message it lags

2-the quality of sound of the headphones that come with the zn5 are not good...not enough bass

3-the wifi catching power is very low when compare to nokia(i also have a nokia n81 n i compared my zn5 with it)

4-video recording is unbelievably bad..just 15fps and that too in qcif...crap

4-high quality video's cannot be played...when ever i try to play a video with 30fps ,it gives an eror message

                    Anonymous, 01 Jan 1970Motorola ZN5 vs. Sony Ericsson C902

In the battle of the high-end camera phones, the Motorola ZN5 is the winner. It wasn't a blowout--indeed, the C902 put up a good enough fight to have a tie in call quality and design--but the ZN5 pulled away in the remaining rounds to emerge victorious. Not only does it offer a better camera with superior photo quality, but its navigation and features rank higher as well. Now it will go on to face the 8-megapixel Samsung Innov8 in the next Prizefight.

Just to share my latest experience on Crystal Talk, last night I was in a really noisy restaurant again, crowded with about 500 people so I decided to do a test again and called my wife, first with my bluetooth headset on (Motorola H12 with Crystal Talk), she said the background is noisy just like noisy restaurant environment but she can still hears me well then I switched back to my E8, the background noise dropped to such level that my wife said she only heard like I'm at a place with only a few people talking nearby softly - not noisy at all. From this test, I realised that the H12 headset did not perform as well as a mobile phone even though both have Crystal Talk. But I can confirm that the H12 headset with Crystal Talk did well in different conditions since using it for about 6 months now, like when I was walking in windy condition, walking outdoor with cars passing by, the background noise were not so audible to the other party that I was talking to. So Crystal Talk is really good, unfortunately only for those who knew it. So Moto fans reading here, hopefully you can try testing it out and share your experience here.

I know 100 Moto has many personal experiences on Crystal Talk. He's a real Moto freak and I'm saying it from a positive approach because I've been seeing him on so many other Motorola phone sites here giving out information to others. Great help & good job from 100 Moto.
