can any zn5 owner plz help me out with the following things:-
1-where can we get themes for this fone
2-is full screen caller photo id possible?
3-what are the games n applications that comes with it?
4-can we play fone games on tv using t.v out cable??
and lastly...
5-is real media-both (audio and video) file supported
plz answer in the best way possible

well, talking about printouts from cameraphones... i have done it alot of times...i dont have digital camera with me at that time, so when a friend of mine i meet somewhere, we took our pictures...im using only a 1.3mpix cameraphone, still it worked, though it doesnt have the intensified feeling of saying wow, this is me...lol...

thats right print outs with pretty much every phone on the market look bad - not sure how many people even attempt to print out photos taken with the camera phone??
as a "moment" camera - the moto zn5 is right on the money
well worth it

i compare zn5 whit n82 : zn5 whit powerful cpu 500mhz whit 350mb inter memory and 5mp kodak camera and very good loud speeker 'wifi 'crystal talk tecnolopgy ' tv out'fm radio' 3.5mm jack 'and very good display whit beutifull design whit 250eur price is best phone .

Number of pixel is one of the spec in digital camera. It will tell you how big can you print the picture. Size of Sensor and type of sensor ismore important. The one used in HP is very small and cheap.
Second is lens. This will make big different comparing small lens. If you want to know more about digital camera go to

100 Moto, 17 Oct 2008Sorry, haven't really tried to "print" out any hardcopy pho... moreI agree with 100 Moto But I will buy ZN5. I need phone with Crystal Talk. I am now using E6. I still will keep E6, I need another phone for different operting net work.
I intend to use ZN5 to take picture for my work. Mostly document type. I have Nikon D60. But I do not wat to carry when travel out of town. Hope that ZN5 will give reasonable reasult.
No way that even best canera phone can macth picture of digicam. I have taking picture for many years,

I don't know how "good" or "bad" it could be, I do know no phone's cam can match any DC's cam in terms of quality, hardcopy or not.
For those people who take lots of photo, I always recommend them to get a DC instead of relying on the phone's cam. Afterall, most phones' cam can't optical zoom...
Camera on a phone should always be "secondary", as the main purpose of a phone should be to make / receive calls.

Fairly loud, louder than A1600, V9, Z8, etc...
4) Any preloaded software (or songs, MVs, like the Jay chow in the E6)?
Not this time.
5)Battery life...well, so far I haven't talked much on my Zn5...
My recommendation is to simply charge the phone "everyday", cos by the time the battery wears out, chances are a new phone will be released and the current phone be sold/traded out. (of course I still have many "old" Moto phones in my collection, like A1000 which I can't find the original battery anymore)
Another recommendation is to charge via USB. I've the USB cable in my office and I charge using USB in my office.
Or get the Moto P790 portable charger, except you would need a mini-USB to micro-USB adapter.

oh...and one more important thing
4) Hows the battery life? is it like what it says on Gsmarena that it is 9.5 hours of talk time? Cux you know how heavily I will depend on the cell phone in HK.

blah, 16 Oct 2008citylink isnt bad man..u can bargain with them cux they hav... moreActually all the other shops I mentioned, including Fortess, you can bargain for lower prices, more gifts and accessories...
Fortress is the largest electronics chain in HK, which I doubt it would risk its reputation by refurbishing used phones and sell them as new.
Most of these shops also allow users to take out the "real" units for testing. Though if you do that @ Citylink but end up not buying the phone, those salesperson would give you the face as if they would kill you!

Excellent phone
keypad takes some getting used to but it is a great phone
the camera is the real star here and the fact they have wifi is great
also the interface is upgraded slightly from the z6, u9 phones
all in all excellent but which the os was as quick as the z6
noticed some on ebay so if anyones interested in getting one early check out ebay
