Come work with us!

Here at GSMArena.com, we strive to offer our readers the most accurate and up-to-date smartphone specification database in the world along with timely news coverage. The objective findings in our device reviews are appreciated by a worldwide community and are a product of rigorous testing and unrelenting dedication to quality.

We employ remote writers in several countries, but our headquarters are situated in Sofia, Bulgaria and the major part of the team works here full-time out of an awesome, spacious open-plan office.

We're currently looking to raise the bar by hiring a few native-level English speakers. Telecommuting is not an option but we can offer flexible hours with a commitment of 40h weekly.

Available openings:

We offer:

  • Competitive salary and social package.
  • Opportunity to work for a world-renowned industry-leading online media.
  • On-the-job training with constant senior staff mentoring.
  • Pleasant working environment.
  • A position in a young and ambitious team.

Shoot us a message if you see yourself in any of the roles below. We'd love to talk to you.

Reviewer/News writer

The reviewer/news writer is a person who is responsible for creating the reviews and news content for our website. As such, you would be covering hot industry topics, as well as helping us develop new content areas and broaden our news coverage.

You would also be conducting various technical and usability tests and comparisons and even partake in video demonstrations. We would expect you to turn all the raw data and observations into a written review in a clear, concise and engaging manner.

You will not be alone in this endeavor. Producing content for GSMArena.com is a team effort so you will be working in close cooperation with your peers and superiors.

The position is ideal for people who are good at writing (and love it) and have a keen interest in mobile technologies. We value scrutiny as much as creativity and objectivity.

We expect the following minimum:

  • Native English speaker.
  • Previous experience in writing for publication or demonstrable writing skills.
  • Attention to detail and commitment to meeting our (arguably reasonable) publication deadlines whatever it takes.
  • Web research skills.
  • High level of computer software proficiency.
  • Basic image editing software skills.

We would favor candidates who also possess any or all of the following:

  • Keen interest in gadgets and tech topics.
  • Knowledge of basic HTML formatting tags and the basic HTML structure.
  • Reading skills in other languages.
  • Above average digital photography or photography editing skills.

Please send us a CV describing your previous occupations, which you think qualify you for the job, and your contact details (including an IM address) at with the following Subject: JOB-EDITOR. We would also appreciate a cover letter describing your experience as well as why you are interested in working for GSMArena.

Proofreader

The proofreader is responsible for proofreading and sub-editing all the articles we publish.

You should have keen eye for detail and even an aptitude for writing yourself. We expect you to proofread the texts produced by our writers throughout the work day and we will rely on you to make sure the articles are coherent, consistent and that they adhere to our style guide.

Once you get used to the topics we normally cover, you would be required to fact-check the articles as well.

We expect the following minimum:

  • Native English speaker.
  • Attention to detail and web research skills.
  • High level of computer software proficiency.

We would favor candidates who also possess any or all of the following:

  • Experience as a proofreader, blogger, technical writer or a similar role.
  • Keen interest in gadgets and tech in general.
  • Hands-on experience in producing online content and operating a CMS.
  • Reading skills in other languages.

Please send us a CV describing your previous occupations, which you think qualify you for the job as well as detailed contact details (including an IM address) at with the following Subject: JOB-PROOFREADER.

If you have any questions before applying, don't hesitate to shoot us an email.
