Anyone else have problems with the Text alert only playing one note? Has anyone fixed this?

There is not anywhere you can get games that I know apart from the GPRS O2 active games download - and the only games there compatible with this phone are Danger Mouse and Rubik's Cube. Even these are an extortionate £4.99 - it's not worth it unless they would be to your tastes!

No mate. I tried ringing it from a land line and vice versa. No joy. It seems to work sometimes and not others. I am in the North east of Scotland and the signal on my Nokia is perfect, inside or out, day or night.

Help. Tried the e101 again with a couple of different mobiles and a land line and even though the signal bar showed a signal from 02, all I got was "it has not been possible to connect to this number". This is my final attempt before it goes in the bin. Anyone else struggling with this "phone"?

Hi. Has anyone had the problem of their phone 'locking'? It happens when I'm using o2 active and I can't do anything with it apart from removing the battery. Just wondered if anyone else was having the same problems.

Callum. Check the heading. User opinion?? You would have us tell porkies then. My phone signal is so weak that I miss loads of calls and messages., but hey, it's wonderful, go out and buy one. Get real mate.My opinion is, it's no use for the purpose for which I bought it.Your opinion may well be different but that dont give you the right to censor mine.

I don't know why you guys are putting down this phone so much... it is good, you just have to learn to bare with it. And also you shouldn't put such negative comments here, otherwise anyone looking for advice on buying this phone will be totally put off by the things you've written. Frankly, I am disgusted. Does anyone else agree with my views?

I forgot to say, the vibrate and ring when a text comes through lasts about a nano-second so be prepared to miss a few messages unless you strap the phone to your forehead.

No thanks. The signal(02) is virtually non-existent. Messages take up to 2 days to arrive or just dont arrive at all. No signal inside my house or my office so a bit of a waste of money and I have missed a lot of important calls.. The phone looks ok and the camera works fine but as a phone it's the pits. I am back with my old Nokia 3310 and happy.

i think this one of teh worst phones you can ever get due to a number of reasons. one been that it is really hard to recieve any photo messages. another is when you shut it up it is really easy to go on the internet by itself. does any one else not like this phone.

Soz guys, my email on last comment was wrong, so try this one. Also when you click on the option to email me, the 'TO:' bar will come up with 'callum.kill.at.hotmail.com' ... or something. Anyway, it's really callum_kill@hotmail.com

RINGTONE TIP: from CBF Mobile, the 'The Simpsons- theme tune' ringtone sounds a bit tinny on the e101. Also from CBF Mobile, the 'Indiana Jones theme' ringer follows only distantly the real tune of the theme.

i have investigated this as there is ythe sync to pc function and after contacting O2 and NEC numerous times i have finaly been given an answer. there is no data cable for the nec e101, there is the function to sync but this was placed on the phone when the software was installed by nec, o2 then have the option to bring out or develop a data cable or a way to sync. but o2 have decided not to. so answer to your question and many others is no you can not connect this phone to the PC. the only way to transfer your pics is to send then via an email address but im not 100% sure how to do this sorry.
                                        hope this helps
