then i suggest u go try to test the hp la ppl opinion not all right or u better choose other brand which care about ringtone lo for me the ringtone is ok phone is for received call n call out so ringtone not much effect to me

btw e238 n k700i which one is the better in tone/mp3 sound and camera? coz I can't decide which 1 to buy! Oh I forget another Q- the sound stereo or mono n how about the quality of headset supplied with e238?

uh, frankly, is the ringtones of the NEC e238 really good? but at least it still stands out in this fashion...
Cos i dont feel good if the camera is good and the style is cool but the tone is horrible...people might think that is a lousy phone..if a normal person standing on the street..heard some one's HP ringtone that is cool..people might think that the phone is cool..beause the tones..so tones are very important in this society though..

got the phone last night have mp3 but i think the phone does not support mp3 ringtone, anyway what files format are real tone and voice tone in, so maybe i can convert mp3 to any one of them, anyone know???

uh..im from malaysia too..i have seen the nec e238 in klcc..and touched it though..its cheaper than nokia and it seemed like its camera is better than others alot..and i believe this though...but i have a few questions actually, its on the tones mostly..
1) can my mp3 songs save as my ringtone?
2) Is there any radio fm function?
3) can i have my own wallpaper from pc?(examples, idols , animals or funky pictures)
4) frankly...if i campare nec e238 with nokia 7270, will e 238 better than 7270?

in comparison to any other flip phone, NEC e238 stand out a lot, compare the price n quality .. not much phone can fight wit this hp. 65k tft colour screen which is much better than lots of other brand in same price, some ppl even think is a 200k colour screen. 26mb of memory is big enuf to play around for a normal user, if u purchase the extra data cable, u can even transfer file back to computer. n camera is very good even in dark enviroment, vid is ok but when move around will b a bit blur (but bear in mind wat price u r paying) !! From my point of view .. e238 is worth buying in this price. go check it out urself ppl ... is nice

E238 doesnt come wit the data cable, u need to purchase it separately, the price of E238 is Around 1.25k, u can get it in Sungai wang n lots of other places.

e398 q nice got bluetooth n memory q alot i read the newspaper if u more care about mp3 then e398 is the best choice.btw i never use this hp before so i am not very sure about the function,performance n etc.
so far i use the nec e238 not bad the sound of mp3 very nice.
mm......maybe u try compare it with motorola n think wat function u really needed n price u budget lo,ppl opinion just a little part not all comment is right so just choose wat u wan ^^
