hello.i'm confused by the pics shown.is the right one is the silver n the right one is the black?or are they the same body?cuz the right pic doesnt seem to b tht slim like the left pic..

mates, NEC got lots of goody phones and their price is much more cheaper. hope one day we get them in Aus

A really stylish looking phone . I am dealing with design and that's one of the few phones that I would by at this time (actually they are only 2 , a Phillips and this one).
Design voting result of 7.2 ? Forget it - that's not a design vote but a favourite brand vote maybe . People , at least be honest when giving your opinion!
And another think - how long will this phone be "comming soon" ?!?! At the end that's the most important one isn't it ?! It is boring and annoying to sit and watch a phone that is "cooming soon" for ages .If NEC thinks it is not worth putting it on the market then cancle it .
I think differently though - they should make a best seller out of it though ,And make it soon ! I have flare for this things ;)

Hi,
Can anyone who has this phone tell me about the sound quality during conversations. I had a NEC525 in the past and the reception was always sounded tinny and faint. I would like to give NEC another chance if it functions as well as Motorola or Nokia. Thanks.

Now how long does it take to bring out a phone these days? This one will be way out of date by the time it reaches customers. I would have gotten it earlier this year if it were available. But there are just too many phones that would offer better value and functions with equally stylish looks. Not impressed at all. Is NEC going the same way Mitsubishi went...downhill?

nec phones is one of the best phones in the world,i have nec 3 e313 am looking for nec e636 to buy.because nec e636 have bluetooth an other facilities is good for driving.if they can send some for me to buy.thank you,i am nec customer help me to get one in ghana and i will be first man to get some

This phone has got style and beats NOKIA by miles in design!
I'm a proud owner of a 903SH, I couldn't complain as it is one of the best. But if you're after something different, go the e636!
I haven't seen something so sleek in a long time. It definatelly stands out!

According to Harlekkin u shud knw wot ur talkin about, cos, like lexus being a poormans mercedes, i can suggest, jus maybe if ppl agree to me, the NEC ur choice of a fone is only for style ppl.. u better get style urself 1st... aight...

This phone has got STYLE. Unlike NOKIA & SE which are just chunky phones for everyone, this phone has STYLE and can only be owned by people with STYLE.

I have been using an nec e808 for almost 3yrs.its performance and hardware excellent. No problem sofar. Now I am trying to buy this beautiful nec e636. Can anybody tell me from where I can buy it.

No MP3-s? whata top phone can it be...and it does`nt look good. NOKIA, Sony-e, Motorola,benq-s and samsung - those are OK phones all others just tryang to cach them

Look closer...turn it around.
Most Japanese handsets have the camera built-in on the BACK of the phone, as where most European models have it installed on the front cover.
It's definatelly there, check out some other pics off google!

if you notice, the only camera is the one on the inside (bottom right hand corner of the inside screen). Meaning only video calling and self pictures can be taken. Other than that it's a slick phone.
