New Oppo midranger gets certified, likely Reno lite
Oppo is looking to add more devices to its midrange segment as two phones bearing the PCGM00 and PCGT00 model names just passed certification. Upon examining the specs it's apparent that the different model numbers equate to the same device and it might just be the upcoming Reno's lighter version.
Up front is a 6.5 inch FHD+ AMOLED display with a 19.5:9 aspect ratio and in-display fingerprint sensor. The phone sports a 16MP pop-up front camera so we can expect some thin bezels and no notch. Around the back, we see a 16MP main sensor alongside a 2MP depth helper and LED flash. The chipset is Snapdragon 710 paired with 8GB RAM and non-expandable 128GB storage. The battery is 3,680 mAh and supports rapid fast changing.
The phone boots Oppo Color OS on top of Android 9.0. Dimensions are 161.2 x 76 x 9.4 mm and it tips the scales at 191 grams. There’s a volume rocker on the left side and power button on the right.
The back reveals an interesting gradient color scheme going from pink to blue depending on the lighting. Other expected colors are Black and White.

Let me guess: microUSB 2.0 instead of USB C?! Typical from Oppo and vivo! xD
