New update hitting Galaxy Note 4 units in India

Himanshu, 18 May, 2016

Samsung has started rolling out a new update to the Galaxy Note 4. Weighing in at around 525MB, the update carries a build number of N910GDTU1DPE1. It's not clear exactly what the update brings along - the change-log is pretty generic, saying stability and performance-related improvements and bug fixes.

In case you missed, Galaxy Note 4 units in India have already received security patches for the Month of May.

As is usually the case, it may take some time before the update hits your device. Meanwhile, if you're feeling impatient, you can check for it manually by heading to your handset's Settings menu.

I too have Note4 N910C from DXB and using in India. Got the update to 6.0.1 couple of days back. My baseband is N910CXXU1DPC1. The update also included the May 1 security patch. No issues faced so far after the update.
