Realme C61 is launching on June 28

The Realme C61 leaked yesterday with renders, specs, and pricing, and today the brand has decided to make its launch date official. The phone is coming on June 28 at 12 PM Indian local time.

It's advertised to be "tough as steel", thanks to its "integrated metallic frame" with "ArmorShell Protection". The device will be IP54 certified for dust and splash resistance, and it also comes with "reinforced glass" for its screen, though what type isn't mentioned.

Those are all the details that have been officially teased so far, but if the aforementioned leak was accurate then we have plenty more to say about the C61. Do note that the renders weren't accurate, as the back of the phone looks quite different, so let's also thus take the leaked specs with a bit of salt.

It will allegedly come with an HD+ screen, the Unisoc T612 SoC, 4/6GB of RAM, up to 128GB of storage, a 5,000 mAh battery with support for 45W fast wired charging, and a 50 MP rear camera.

The pricing is rumored to be less than INR 10,000, which seems fitting given the specs on offer here. Anyway, we'll find out if all of this pans out in just a few days, so stay tuned.
