For a really long time now that one could just get a LG G2, Sony Z1 or Nexus 5 without having to jump through the hoops.
Sure, they are not as powerful as this OPO... but they do also have Cyanogenmod available and service centers pretty much everyone (should anything go wrong with any of the phones).
Pretty soon the G3 and Z2 will start entering this price point, thus making the OPO completely irrelevant.
One Plus was just too slow to deliver their phone to their costumers. I do hope they have learned something from this and the Two gets things right.

Think about all those ColorOS units that were laying around in store shelfs in China (a place where there never was a shortage of this phone) that could have been sold for the international market with Cyanogenmod. Demand was clearly there!

Whatever they're doing (love it or hate it) it's working. There's a lot of haters of this phone here but none of that really matters cause I'd say they're doing pretty well for themselves
